These are fantastic cords. They're as advertised - strong, durable, and useful. I found the tabs on the hooks to be helpful in some circumstances, and unnecessary in others - ultimately I'd rather have them than not, and they have not gotten in my way. They're bendable enough to move out of the way if necessary.Aside from the product quality, I have to say that I received a personalized, hand-written (yes, truly hand-written) thank-you card in the mail (real postage stamp and all...the whole 9 yards). You know the "thanks for your purchase please review us" emails you get from sellers? Try a legit hand-written, folding card (think hallmark style). I mean, wow. Look, even if these bungees had a problem (which they don't), I can tell you that the people behind them are real people and clearly stand behind their product - so if there were to be an issue, I'm REALLY comfortable having ordered them...knowing I can reach out to the seller as if they're my local hardware store and talk to them about it.Fortunately, there's no issue with these bungee cords, and I'll gladly be ordering another set soon.Bonus points: apparently a portion of proceeds go to charity. Work, give, succeed. Love these cords and the company behind them.

overall. the bungees are fine, nothing amazing. they do work.I have 1 beef. I hate the extra bottom piece of the hook area with the small gap, in my truck it was a pain, literally and figuratively..a big factor is my liner, it doesn't give me 100% access to my d rings.Regardless, I moved via my truck. it was freezing out, and putting these bungees on was unnecessarily difficult.I borrowed one from a friend that I needed, it was all hook, and no bottom piece thingy. Very easy to hook on.So if you have full unobstructed access to your drings or whatever, and it's not freezing cold, and you're not moving houses, then these are fine.At this point, because they work, I may just take snips to open that hook-gap more. Or maybe i'll just buy different bungees for my truck.Simply stated, I need bungees to be easier to hook than these are. I do not appreciate that bottom piece and that small gap, not sure of its purpose either.The whole caveat here is what you're hooking on to and what the heck you're using these for. My kind-of thick TruckBed D-Rings kinda suck for this product. I will never forget the experience, I hate that stupid small gap / bottom piece. But these do the job so that was my experience.

We use bungees frequently when we're carrying items in our pickup or have bikes and gear on a car rack. Somehow, they're a little like hair bands,when you don't need them you find them everywhere and when you do, they are nowhere to be found. I bought these for a recent trip and we liked the sort-of carabiner end loops for,the gear we were carrying. We didn't buy them for a huge load and I don't thing they were intended for that, but great for general bungee-uses. Oh yes, none broke or frayed, and the open carabiner loops showed no sign of strain or breakage.

Back in the day my grandfather used bungee cords to secure a 4000 pound canoe to the top of his Cutlass Supreme. The kind that when they snapped back at you, if you weren't wearing a welder's helmet you were going to the ER. Bungee cords have come a long way my friend. You can no longer catch a 48 inch sea bass with the razor sharp hooks, and the elastic stretches to longer than two and a half percent of its length. These things can now be reliably used to secure anything to your car. The varying lengths of cord in this package ensures you do not need to quadruple wrap the cord around your racks - you have the right size every time.2 thumbs up for these cords!!!

I purchased these bungee cords to secure my tools, fuel containers, tires, and miscellaneous parts in the bed of my truck when I am towing my race cars. Bungee cords might seem like a fairly straight forward purchase, but I've seen some very nice ones before and also ones that failed easily. So far, these heavy duty bungee cords from Super Smithee have held up well, and the assorted sizes are useful for finding one that is just the right length to secure it snugly. There's a lot of uses for these, and the price is reasonable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

within a few weeks of constant use the part that is flexible across the hook (to stop the hook coming off) has broken off. good idea and ok for occasional use only.
