Quality mic but not great if moving your head?
I can't complain about the sound quality of this mic. However...As a drumming vocalist, I find the mouthpiece constantly moves away from the position I set it in, as my head moves. I the cable adds a counterweight to the direction of movement and I have been unable to secure it to my head well enough to overcome this. When I tighten the headset (by bending the metal/wire frame inwards to hold tighter around my head above my ears), it becomes very uncomfortable and doesn't seem to help much in any case.I can imagine most wearable mics suffer the same sorts of issues, rather than it being a poor design on Shure's part.

A good mic, No feedback probs, Clear sound, Hurts my ears and makes them stick out
I've never used a headset mic before, but I'm a keyboard player so I thought I would give it a try. I did't want to spend a fortune so price was OK. I think the headband is too large for me as I'm a female with a small head.It hangs down at the back. I wear glasses and find the ear pieces a uncomfortable. Also they make my ears stick out which is not very flattering. I would have liked a mute button

Low gain
You'll need maximum gain on your mixer to get a decent level out, which makes it hiss. Needs a hard case as very easy to break. Poor for Shure

Brilliant bit of kit
Fantastic bit of kit. Should have invested in one long ago. Excellent performance and makes my job as a drummer a lot easier.Don’t even know it’s there. New found freedom whilst playing and quality audio from the mic.

Awesome for a singing drummer
Really difficult to find a wired headset for some reason. We bought this one, and 3 of us ended up using it on the gig night (for singing whilst drumming, it really is hard to beat). It is relatively expensive, but sound wise, I have nothing to complain about. The tiny wind shield and positioning on the face meant no plosive's or sibilance and the nice little clip on the xlr plug reduced the danger of wandering off and pulling out/damaging leads.

Excellent product.
Very good indeed. Has a fairly high impedance, so best used with something like a voice enhancer, which seems to boost things up! Very comfortable to wear, and the mike follows you wherever you turn your head. Goodbye to glueing your lips to a stand mike! This is well worth the money for any performer.

The usual high standard of delivery especially considering it came from China. I was worried there might be a customs charge but there wasn't. The headset is just what I wanted for using direct into my Tyros keyboard to make use of the vocal effects and does not produce the amount of feedback as from the boom mounted mics I've been using. If you're thinking of using this for the same reason you will need an extension XLR as the XLR lead is a little short.

After not to long the XLR has developed a bit of a crackle if your not careful with it, which is a bit of a pain because all you really want to do is stuff it in your pocket and crack on.
