I still don't see the relevance of the color. I purchased a set because I saw the inventor on the Shark Tank. She gave a great presentation even though the sharks did not give her an offer. One comment regarding the packaging: I ordered trhem for the reason she gave for inveenting them. She said she wanted something to get makeup out of the bottom of bottles. That's why I ordered them. However, they came packaged showing kitchen use. They have multiple uses and I like mine. I am going to order several for gifts.
