Keychain USB Flash Drive 512gb Waterproof Memory Stick Portable Thumb Drive (512dd)

This drive worked but it was horribly slow. For instance it took almost 3 hours to back up 42GB of data. Using name brand drives, I can back up the same files in less than 15 minutes.

The average rating on this has gone down since I purchased it & I can guess why. Everything is gone. The first few times I used, I thought Awesome! It holds so much & costs so little (compared to similar drives that hold so much.) Then I went to retrieve a video project to complete the edits & am told "This folder is empty." That folder had 10gb of audio & video clips as well as the project file with 30 minutes of editing into the 1hr final video that I had done so far, it cannot be empty. I tried everything to try & locate any of the files & they were all gone. Thank God I still had things backed up elsewhere & this was just my collection point folder to work on bringing everything together, but I might as well have just deleted it all from my harddrive. I'm furious & upset because there were things that I moved to this drive that are also gone. Don't be lured in by the price like I was. This thing is worthless

When I was looking for a high-capacity flash drive, I found this one. I jokingly said to a friend, why would I need it to be waterproof? Within 24 hours of its arrival, it fell out of my pocket and onto the ground. It rained all night, soaking it, and it was even underwater for a time. When I found it the next day, it worked just fine. Highly recommend this little guy!!!Also, the upload speed is just fine. I realize that can be an issue for some people. I saw no difference between it and other flash drives I own.

I put about 20 gigs on it without problem. Anything i try to add above that says that it transfers fine but then when i try and access it i get a read error that the data is corrupted. I formatted the drive and tried again. This looks like a 32 gig stick that has had the firmware modified. DO NOT BUY ITS A RIP OFF

If you need temp transfer of files that are not important for you-it is a great value for money.But if you have some important stuff-don't use it if you don't have another copy. I am battling with corrupted files for the last 3 months. Followed all rules, formatted the drive at the beginning and using eject-still plenty of issue.

I got 2 of these as it seems I can never have enough around when I need them. With 512Gb of space I can put an entire computer hard drive on them easily. The throughput is not fast, but not terrible USB2.0 not 3.1 so I didn't expect them to be blazing fast.

This product does not work. I tried to use it twice. The first i copied over my files it would not five me access to them. The space was used but when I opened that folder nothing was there but the the folder none of the contents in the folder showed on screen. The second time it deleted the files.

Thinking of buying a flash drive? My best advice to you is ... buy a brand name. This NOT 512 gb.
