Ideas In Motion Kitchen Grater Multi Shredder with Bonus Storage Container, Stainless Steel/Black

I thought that having a box style grater would make life easier in the kitchen and having a container for the gratings to fall into was an added bonus. That's why i bought this particular box grater. However, the grater is made from a flimsy metal and caves in while grating. the gratings also fall on the outside as much as the inside of the box grater, making a huge mess everywhere. It does cut very well though. I won't through it away or replace it any time soon, but i will also never buy another one.

It is a bit big and you have to have a clean paper towel to catch all the cheese that falls as you are grating. I like the catch container with the lid. It makes it easy to grate and store leftover cheese w/o using another container. The wide opening makes it easy to clean. Overall I like it.

Best Grater !!!!I bought in the past many graters, this one is the best!!!Great product!Sturdy construction!it does what it says it does ... grates cheese easily.Easy to hold and use ... dishwasher safe. I never use the little plastic container that comes with it, but it packs well inside the grater and could be useful in some instances.A MUST have in your kitchen.

Grating cheeses for various recipes is fantastic. It fluffs the cheeses, not like the pre-grated cheeses from the stores. I love it and love the little storage container that comes with the grater. It's really excellent. Now if I could only keep from grating my knuckles, I would be on top of the world. No one's fault but mine. But I do love the grater. Thanks.

Like the sharpness of this grater, don't like the little plastic bin that's supposed to catch grated results. Works best for me to use in deep bowl, holding grater at an angle. Cleans up easily, a nice addition to my kitchen.

ehh I'm a little disappointed, next time I'll just get the good old fashioned cheap one... the rubber base catches cheese and is hard to clean, I took it off once and noticed it all rusted and the grater itself isn't super sturdy, either I grate with a lot of pressure or this thing is too thin because I've noticed that the side I use is a little bowed in

I realized today that the black rubber ring on the bottom is removable!This is great for tomatoes. Place the entire grater in a large bowl, slice tomatoes in half and grate them to the skin. Quicker than scalding and skinning when you only want to do a few for dinner.

This is an incredibly well made product. Having it fit on the container is such a clever and "smart" idea. They have so improved a normal kitchen tool, that it's a pleasure using it. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for cutting down the mess and making measuring easy. Very sharp edges produce exactly what is wanted.
