I bought this for a friends birthday gift and if course I had to check out the recipes first. Amazing delicious recipes. I would highly recommend this book.

Always the very best recipes
One thing I have discovered about this author is that every recipe she puts in print is always delicious, healthy and has a meticulously balanced blend of spices, seasonings and supporting ingredients. As a long time vegetarian (48 years) I have tried many recipes by other authors that although were healthy were not that tasty or tasty but not that healthy. I have purchased every recipe book this author has written and have yet to have one of about a hundred that I have tried not be a success. I know that this author will not put a recipe in print until it meets the very highest of standards, which involves a great deal of testing and refinement to get the recipe just right. I like this book not only for the recipes but also that (as I have a too often desire for unhealthy 'fried' food) each recipe is color coded (green, blue or purple) for it's nutrition, balance, and level of healthiness. Don't worry there are no reds but she does recommend the purple recipes be consumed no more than 2-3 times per week, which will be no problem for me as six of the eight total 'purple recipes' were in the dessert section, and I usually go sans dessert anyways. Also her directions on how to exactly adjust the 'air frying' process for each recipe is priceless in making the recipe a success. Every recipe also lists prep time, cook time and per serving calories, fat grams, saturated fat g, cholesterol, sodium, carbohydrates g, fiber g and protein g for the time and health conscious among us. Her list of pantry staples and spices was helpful too for anyone starting out in healthy cooking or in my case to remind me to pick up some arrowroot as an alternative to cornstarch. I am so glad to now have the ability to exponentially expand the use of my air fryer and eat healthier! Thanks again Tess!

Doable recopes
After borrowing a ton of different air fryer and vegan cookbooks from the library I settled on this one. This is a big deal. There are so many cookbooks to choose from. And I don’t like to just collect them. This book is truly vegan but not using crazy ingredients. The recipes are easy to follow and tasty. In addition I love that it has a spiral binding which makes it fit nicely on my Pioneer Woman cookbook holder. ☺️Thank you Janet and Maddie for writing a normal, easy to use vegan air fryer cookbook. Not an easy task!

VEGAN WIFE LOVES IT
My wife is a vegan who likes the ease of air fryer cooking. I gave her this book for Christmas and she has used its fresh ideas and recipes almost every day since. Happy wife!

Excellent Air Fryer Cookbook
This cookbook is the best! So many good recipes and very helpful information - as in the perfect, easy to read and find list of how to air fry each vegetable! I made the “Immune-Boosting Grilled Cheese Sandwich” last night....it was the best grilled sandwich I have ever had! What a fantastic idea putting kimchee on your sandwich (at the end -not when in the air fryer.) Who knew you can do PERFECT grilled cheese sandwiches in your air fryer?!! I used the Chao cheese which melted perfectly. Tomorrow night I’m making the “Mexican Stuffed Potatoes”. I can’t wait to try every single recipe! I am a cookbook addict and am disappointed with a lot with my choices - not this one- I highly recommend this one.

Air fryer and vegan cuisine from breakfast to dessert
75 recipes here, note there are other kindle books that have more. Probably worth the ninety-nine pennies I threw down. FEW PICTURES including a gratuitous but pretty shot of an aqua colored air fryer. The pictures tend to be full page arty shots and not informative on what the dish will look like. The usual blather about pantry staples in front (like you need this if you are already into vegan cooking and an air fryer. Skim past this.)Not all the recipes here use the air fryer for the main cooking; for example, Lemony Lentils with "Fried" Onions stews the lentils as you would do in a pot, but garnishes with air-fried onions. This isn't a bad recipe and it's a riff on dal with "tempering" (lentils Indian-style with a topping of onion, spices and oil.)The recipe book has kale chips, air-fried taco chips and if I had to name a style of cuisine, I'd say it tends to the Southwest and Mexi-American rather than international though there is a Panang curry bowl. Again, the air fryer's job is to make crunchy toppings on your typical stews and such. Not all the recipes are crunchy toppings and the book is trying to give you uses for that big football-helmet sized appliance on the counter, but it's basically air baking, so anything you can bake in a small round pot or more or less deep fry, you can do in the air fryer. Tofu with coating does well--when you do this in a fryer it absorbs a lot of oil and air frying makes sense. The dessert section is very full, so if you want baked goods baked in the air fryer there are many delights such as gooey lemon bars and raspberry streusel cake, even cookies and there is a breakfast cobbler with berries and oatmeal in the breakfast section. I'm not a big eater of baked goods and sweets. And if I'm making Apple Crisp I'm doing it in the oven or even toaster oven but wouldn't limit myself to the air fryer because I'm making enough for company. Most of these recipes I wouldn't bother to make because it's just extra work to get out the air fryer for a crunchy topping and I'm not baking in it, no real reason to do that. And a lot of the recipes are adjective-loaded, which is a writing thing that bugs me "Cozy Apple Crisp." "De-Light-Full Caramelized Apples." I think adjectives should be used for describing food the way you use salt: just a pinch and not a scoopful. Otherwise it gets a bit twee.Pro: Makes tasty dishes probably the entire family would like, because of texture and flavorCon: a bit of work and you can do many without the air fryer so why bother?

Great cookbook but the font is thin and difficult to see.
Just got my first air fryer(Gowise 3.7) and delighted with the results from this book. However I'm over 60 and need bifocals. My real gripe isn't about the recipes it's about the lettering fonts used, as the book is NOT easy to read, less when you're in the kitchen checking and mixing ingredients etc. Its annoying. Otherwise 5 stars.Be aware there are no photos, but good recipes and great side notes ( if only they were easier to read)

Great idea but could have included a few more colourful photos of the end results

Useful resource
Practical, tasty, & healthy recipes. Also handy reference section at the back. A much better resource than the vegan instant pot book that I came across (which had complicated ingredient lists, etc).
