By far not the best mutes you can buy. But the small mutes are terrible, first thing there are no side slots, so you have to remove the D and A strings and feed them through the holes, It doesn't end the tag will not fit over the bridge. I've got a standard bridge setup, and I can't see these mutes fitting on any violin. Now I see why you get 8 mutes for £5.99 ### ⭐ Not for cello *by A***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 May 2020* Not for the cello!!! Do not buy if you want this for a 4/4 cello! These are for violins and are way too small to fit over the bridge. Disappointed as this was the first thing that came up when I searched for cello mute. Got to look for something else now, sorry neighbours 😂 ### ⭐ Useless *by A***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 July 2020* The rubber/plastic from which these is much too hard and mekes them impossible to use --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/129077167-4pcs-claw-rubber-silencer-4pcs-round-rubber-violin-practice-mute](https://www.desertcart.be/products/129077167-4pcs-claw-rubber-silencer-4pcs-round-rubber-violin-practice-mute) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-28*
