When these first arrived, I'll admit that I wasn't impressed with their appearance and thought I may have wasted my money. But when I tried them, I was very impressed! My son is left handed and has dyspraxia, so writing is a challenge. I finally found perfect grips for a dynamic tripod grip (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0797V25HF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1), but I kept having to remind him to hold his pencil back. When the pencil would drift to the side, his wrist would start to curl and would make his hand drag through his writing. Once I added the HandiWriter, his hand position started and remained perfect without any reminding. That, coupled with a grip that is slightly farther back (1 1/2" from the tip), gives him an excellent grip and no dragging his hand through what he has written.

These are excellent for helping kids to hold the pencil correctly and worked well. I like that they came several in a pack
