Review: Comfy, VERY Cute, and exactly as pictured - The Clarks Black Leather Maui Sneakers, Size 8, are so cute! I finally had to admit that sneakers with dresses is a thing that isn't going away, so I needed to get with the program. I've always maintained that there are too too too many cute shoes in the world to put sneakers with anything other than gym clothes, but apparently I need to evolve. Of all the sneakers I looked at , these Clarks were the cutest ones, especially because of the trim pieces: the strip around the sole, the little tab to hold the laces, etc. Classic but fresh. I can wear them with a midi or maxi dress if I want (eek!) or with a pantsuit like Ellen. They are surprisingly lightweight--like really lightweight--so I'm seeing them more as a shoe for comfortable fashion and not out-and-out sport. My foot is more narrow than a medium width (but not freaky narrow), so I've got them laced tighter than some. No problem with that though. Just mentioning. Length and fit is exactly as expected. I'm a true size 8 in all boots and sneakers.

I got these shoes in the black leather, and I love them. Super light-weight, great style tht looks so cute on! However, beware that they do run large. I wear a size 7 almost all the time, and when I read the reviews I ended up going a size down. The 6 fits me perfectly, and I never wear a 6!
