Bad design
So I read a review on here that mentioned something about an embroidered acorn on the inside of the shoe near the heel. Not thinking this would be a problem for my tough feet, I ordered them anyway. Turns out to be much more of an annoyance than I thought. I have no idea what designer in their right mind would make extremely soft slippers with a hard acorn right were you apply the most pressure of your step. It makes the slippers borderline uncomfortable.

Exquisite!
It's embarrassing how much time I spent researching men's slippers. My husband wears socks around the house in the evenings and sometimes steps in something wet resulting in yucky soggy socks. I wanted him to have comfortable nighttime footwear that he could sport with confidence. Who knew there were hundreds of slippers to choose from? What started as kind of a silly notion turned into a research project. I read tons of reviews and even left Amazon to read men's magazine articles about slippers. Many reviewers favored Acorn. Amazon offered a good price, but they were still a little spendy I thought for slippers. Nevertheless, he deserves the best so I finally ordered a pair of Acorn slippers along with a pair of lounge pants and waited what seemed only a few hours for delivery. He was pleasantly surprised by the thoughtfulness behind the gift although he said he now feels really old. The slippers are more impressive in person than online. They look very substantial and expensive. The blue check Berber material on the outside is luxurious and soft. The inside memory foam is wonderful. He wears size 12M and says the 12-13 size fit perfectly. The soles are rubber and look to be durable. I think they'll hold up well for the occasional trip to the mailbox or patio. I'll give an update after he's worn them awhile but so far a definite home run!

ACORN raised emblem feels like a pebble in the slipper
Really wanted to like these. I put them on, and immediately it felt like there was a pebble in my slipper; definitely something under my foot. I looked inside, and saw it was a raised "acorn" emblem on the floor of the slipper (you can see it in one of the product photos). And by "raised", I mean that's what I was feeling when I was walking in them. Maybe I have overly-sensitive feet, but it bugged the heck out of me. I would have kept the slippers otherwise, but with that never ending discomfort being there, I'm returning them. One star because I can't believe what a bone-headed eff up that is on the part of the manufacturer. First off, who gives a rat's rear end about your emblem?? Second, if you're going to put it in the slipper, that's fine, but print it on or something; don't manufacture a freaking raised up emblem I have to step on and feel every step I take. Unbelievable.

Used to be good, poor quality now
I bought a pair of acorns in 2015 and loved them. I loved them so much that I bought a second pair in a different color in June 2017.Now, it's October 2018 and the blue ones I bought in 2015 are still going strong with lots of padding in the bottom. The black ones I bought in 2017 are completely devoid of padding and are ripping in the inside. I wear them both equally, so I can only assume that the ones I bought from here in 2017 were either knockoffs or they're cutting corners on them now.Unfortunately I can no longer recommend them. Pretty upset because I thought I had found the perfect house shoe and now the search continues again.

Super comfortable and doesn't make my feet sweaty
As an Asian, slippers are somewhat foreign territory to me. I currently live in a place where people wear their shoes indoors, so I bought slippers to prevent trailing everyone's muck into my room.Super comfortable and doesn't make my feet sweaty! I was worried these wouldn't be easy to slip into, but the back heel folds down and pops back up pretty easily.EDIT: So it's been about a year now, and even though I now don't live with folks who wear their shoes indoors anymore, I still find excuses to wear these around. Cold day? Slippers! Feet feeling low on self-esteem? Slippers! Woke up? Slippers!! ACORN SLIPPERS FOREVER!!! ...this is definitely one of those "My first brand is my last brand" items. Well done, ACORN.

Very disappointed in quality
Very disappointed in these. After less than two weeks of periodic wearing, a huge hole appeared in the front. Will not be purchasing again.

Warm slippers for house lounging :-)
I bought the Black Berber Acorn Men's Slip-On Loafer (they are really slippers - why call them loafers?).Cons: I have read some of the reviews stating that the stitched acorn on the inside of the slipper is uncomfortable to them. I can understand that viewpoint after working in the kitchen with my wife with these slippers on. If you have plantar fasciitis the acorn brand stitched into the slipper bottom would probably drive you nuts. After I wore them for a while, I kind of got used to it.Pros: These slippers are extremely comfortable to have on while you are sitting around the house. I kept them because they are so warm and comfortable for house lounging, doing homework, and other very sedentary types of things.Overall, a great pair of slippers that would have five stars instead of four if the stitched acorn brand was not inside of the slipper. A little human factor engineering would have eliminated this problem quickly. Hey Acorn, your brand is on the collar of the slipper, no need to place it inside of the slipper too. With all of that said, I hope to wear these slippers as long as the last pair I had from Acorn (years!).

Expensive but worth it
Amazingly comfortable, breathable slippers. Would recommend to all. Best slippers I've ever owned

Too big and not wide enough sole base
Slippers are too big so don't fit snugly like I feel slippers should; and the soles aren't wide enough, so the top (fabric) part has shifted over the sole on each slipper and so my feet are constantly hanging over the inside edge of the hard rubber sole. If the rubber sole was a wider base, I doubt this issue would happen. It's just not a wide enough foundation. I tried to launder with warm water and use dryer for a short time (didn't want to dry longer than 5 or 10 mins) -- and then finished drying in front of a portable heater -- hoping they would shrink and fit snugly, but that didn't help. My feet are on a slightly narrow side, but I've never bad shoe problems. I always get 10.5 shoe size, but whatever chart I looked at to figure out what size slipper I should buy didn't work for me. Am stuck with oversized slippers, which is a bummer because this is my first pair of slippers I've bought in many years and was looking forward to cozy slippers for the winter. Didn't happen. Might be my fault for not returning/exchanging within 15 or 30 days, but I was super busy and figured I'd just live with it. They work, but just aren't that comfortable for me.

Loves these slippers - on my third pair
I have big feet, so my options are limited in pretty much any footwear. These slippers are a nice balance between comfy and good-looking. I work from a home office and wear these pretty much every day.

Just like my previous pair.
Fit was a little on the nose but relaxed super quickly. Replacing my last pair which lasted over three years of daily (indoor) use, extremely pleased with the comfort. I love these on cool tile floors, decent traction and well insulated without being hot. (I'm not generally one that gets "hot feet" though.)
