Better to have one than Not
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I have never owned one of these before but I felt compelled to get one due to the rising of crime in places that you cannot carry a gun. I I wanted something that I could have on me 24/7. Also this would be much easier to pull out than a weapon in an unexpected situation. I feel this is a great purchase for me and plan on sticking it in my pocket in my purse where it’s easily available for me to access. I hope I never have to use this in an emergency but if I do, the alarm is very loud and it’s very quick, all I had to do was pull the little side pin out. I think every lady should have one of these. Another neat little feature that I didn’t notice was it has a little flashlight at the tip too.

Alarm is super loud...
My daughter is going to Washington on a school trip in a few weeks. I wanted her to have something to protect her that wasn’t considered a weapon. This was a great purchase. The light on it is super bright. The alarm pin is on the side and easy to pull. It is so dang loud that you can hear from fas away. It scared my son so I have no doubt it would scare someone trying to harm her.

FIZZLE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK
THIS IS A CHEAP GADGET. TO REPLACE THE THREE TINY BATTERIES THE TOP HAS TO BE REMOVED. TO REMOVE THE TOP YOU NEED TO PRY IT AWAY FROM THE BOTTOM. THEN THE KEY CHAIN FALLS OFF. REPLACING THE BATTERIES IS DIFFICULT SINCE THEY KEEP POPPING AWAY. TO GET HE KEY CHAIN TO STAY IN PLACE TO PUT THE TOP BACK YOU NEED TO TAPE IT TO THE HOOK, REPLACE THE SNAP TOP THEN PULL THE TAPE AWAY. IT'S CHEAP AND IT DIFFICULT TO MAINTAIN. SPEND MORE MONEY ON AN EASIER ITEM TO USE AND MAINTAIN.

Added level of protection
While no one thing can truly guarantee your safety, I feel better knowing I have my personal alarm with me, especially while walking my dog (a muscley mix of American bulldog and boxer, who is a crime deterrent in his own right!). I purchased this specifically to latch onto my dog’s leash for early morning and later evening walks. The sound is ear piercingly loud and would most definitely be heard by anyone in the nearby area. All you have to do is pull the cord on the side to start the alarm, and to stop it, just reinsert the cord. The cord is secure enough so that it’s not going to accidentally come out in your bag. It also has a handy light. Although I haven’t had to replace the batteries, all you need to do is unscrew the back cover to replace them. This personal alarm is definitely an added level of safety you can’t be without.

Super loud personal alarm
This personal alarm is really great! Makes a super loud noise. I have rigged it to my front door, for when my husband is away. if a thief try to break into the door, this personal alarm will make super loud noise.Also, this personal alarm looks very nice, it's is a lightweight, very effective. It is easy to use- just pull the pin and there is a piercing noise.It can be carried on a key ring or fits easily into pocket. Lightweight to carry!Finally, it's a good flashlight. The light LED ~ quite bright.

Well.. it definitely works.
Definitely works.. my husband was trying to figure it out one day ,IN THE MIDDLE OF AN IHOP, he didn’t realize that the peg in the side is what sets off the alarm so he pulls it and the entire restaurant is staring because he was completely panicking and couldn’t get the peg back in. So. If anyone was wondering, the big “button looking thing” (as he said) is not a button. It’s the speaker. So yes it works. Yes you’ll have a heart attack if not expected and no do not pull it unless you are in true dangers

Makes plenty of noise
I purchased this for my daughter who is traveling out of state for an internship lasting 6 months. She asked if I could get her this as she wanted something to attract attention to her just in case something were to go wrong. I agreed as in this day and age there are some strange people out there and you just don't know anymore.I hope she never has to even use this, but it's something that may just help if she needs it.

Awesome product! Has a bright little light, perfect for seeing your lock or finding something in your purse. The alarm is super loud and definitely will alert nearby folks, if I need it. I love the smallness of this, fits on my key ring and gives me another layer of security besides my 38 ! I bought the pale pink one and it’s really nicely made.
