Great Product Apply with Care
This is great stuff. I have been looking for anything to make my hair fuller and stay in place. If you never used it before be very careful when applying it. The directions say to rub it in your hands and then into your hair. Sounds like what you do with mouse but this is a whole different animal. If you apply it like that you are going to be disappointed with the feel of your hair. The best thing to do is put a little on your finger tips and apply it to the the area that you want to enhance. Don't use much just run your fingers over the stuff and sort of pick at your hair from the root area up. Keep fluffing your hair with the hand that has no product on it until you get the feel you like. Once you apply too much you will have to wash it out. I ended up washing the front of my head because it just felt too sticky when I applied it as directed. It looked great but greasy, that is what happens with over applications. I have never seen my hair look full and greasy at the same time before. If you have thin hair you know what I mean. I am a hairdresser, since I let my license lapse and do not buy professional products anymore it seems like I am going with all L'Oreal products these days. I have not been disappointed so far.

It works best if you warm it up or your hair is ...
You don't need much of this product to get the result you are looking for. It works best if you warm it up or your hair is warm (such as after drying your hair). If I need a little pick me up I use the hair dryer and re-shape. My hair is very short and I wanted the piecy look. Tried about 7 other Aveda products as well. I also use the men's sculpting paste and that works well too.

Good sculpting product
I’ve used this product for many years. Unfortunately it’s getting harder to find and more expensive with each order. Nevertheless, it’s a good sculpting product and a little goes a long way. Do not use liberally or it will weigh down your hair. Use a dab, rub on your finger tips and scrunch into hair or drag your fingers through the area of hair you wish to give volume .

Hope to buy this product for years to come!
I have been buying this product on Amazon for a few years now. I HIGHLY recommend the product. I have short hair and use the product to provide a solid hold throughout the day. The product keeps your hair in place without it being "crisp" or "hardened" like many other hair products.Works best when I apply when my hair is drying, but not yet completely dry. A few notes about applying when your hair it too wet or too dry: apply when your hair is too wet, and the product may weigh your hair down. Apply when your hair is completely dry, and the product may not have its full ability to hold your hair up.I hope this product remains on Amazon for years to come!

product is too stiff
I was hoping for a paste type texture, where you just dip your finger in the jar and you are able to get product on your finger. This was very firm in the jar, more like a pomade. I really had to work to get it out. Didn't make my hair look piecey like my discontinued Textureline paste. It did provide my fine short hair a little lift.

Does the job!
As I got older, my hair thinned. I'm a male, and it's hard to find a basic texturizer that doesn't have a strong odor, or that's not sticky. I've been using this for years, on my short hair, and 1/2 dime size (or less) on my hair gives it the texture and lift that I'm looking for without being sticky or shiny. The finish is very natural looking.

grooms hair well
I Like the product. It does a great job of giving full body to hair and make it easier to manage.
