Idiot's Guides: Nail Art

Arrived on time and exactly as described! This book is the perfect companion for learning how to create some fabulous nail art designs! It is exactly what I was looking for! It has lots of pictures and very clear step by step instructions for how to create each of the designs in the book. It also separates the designs based on skill level and shows multiple photos to further break down the steps in each design. I highly recommend this book for anyone wanting to add some nail art as a way to jazz up their everyday manicure.

this is an awesome book to learn how to design and work on nails. I just wanted to do this as a hobby and I'm totally enjoying it.

Daughter and I love this book. We saw originally in our local library and we had to buy it. It's so easy to follow instructions and we actually can reproduce the designs! We have gotten tons of compliments and still have not tried every design. Great ideas and we pick different colors but girl nail time is so much fun!

Excellent simple step-by-step instructions, very helpful for me (a non-artist). Has a wonderful variety of designs, and explains them with abundant pictures. I also use the ideas with other crafts I do, besides fingernails.

I love this book because it gives you a step by step on how to create each look! I have another nail book and it just gives picture ideas. Well that's great, but I need to see how to do it and this book does just that! Great for noobs wanting to expand their horizon!

Looks like a great book and I look forward to reading it and learning from it. Unfortunately the condition of the book wasn't very good, considering it was purchased new. The upper inner corner is completely ripped :(

Great tool for beginners! Very detailed and really really helpful. I've bought a total of 3 Nail Art Books recently and this one was the best. I will refer you book to anyone who may be interested in nail painting.

I follow the Laquerologist's blog and always find her nail art inspring. Now I can recreate some of those looks for myself. The step by step is quite helpful and the pictures show every detail.

I haven't tried any of the designs yet because I'm still waiting for the rest of my Gel Nail supplies to arrive, but this is a great book. It starts with the anatomy of the nail and how to care for your nails & cuticles. It then goes on to explain the tools & supplies you'll need and how they're all used. Next up is a quick overview of how you can use the designs.......... Accent nail, using 3D accents ect. Finally, come the designs. Each is spread over 2 pages, one page showing how the finished design will look plus the colours of polish & equipment you'll need, the second page shows step by step how to do the designs and they are broken down really well. Even as a novice I think I'll be able to create something acceptable.

Be aware this is the same book as the DK try it , Nail Art book !

Fantastic book for beginners and those who are more advanced. Very well written with clear picture tutorials and loads of fab nail care tips and tricks. A must have for anyone who is into nail art.

Really informative and easy to read material! Even has a page of resources to look at for more tips and tricks to do with nail art/care
