I haven’t had any discomfort with this product, and it made great vegan mozzarella on pizza.

The perfect ingredient to make "mozzarella cheese"
I loved how this allowed me to make a block of "mozzarella cheese" that I was able to shred up and add to a pizza!

Too much work necessary to prevent clumping.
Requires too much care in mixing and requires wisking and heating; because, it forms clumps in liquid too easily.

I ordered this product to make my own vegan cheeses, and it definitely Does the trick. Good product, I will re-order some more soon!

I used this as a vegan source to make "cheese". It worked fantastically as a gel agent.

Relatively inexpensive way to "gel" foods.
I got this for the purposes of making some of the Miyoko Schinner vegan cheeses and have, thus far, been more impressed with the results I get from agar agar. That said, this does "gel" nicely, is said to be advantageous in that it "melts", and probably costs less per batch than agar. It's not perfect for my purposes, but it does what it's supposed to.
