Ballcap Buddy-The Original Cap Washer/Shaper - Pack of Two- Gray Color

Gave these to my husband. We tested these using older caps, so if they got ruined it wouldn't be the end of the world. He put one cap in each cap washer/shaper and used the dishwasher to wash them and then air-dried them. I'm not at all certain that the cap washer/shaper is necessary if you're using the dishwasher to clean your caps, since the caps aren't going to get tossed around in there. The caps came out looking just as dirty, and were now wrinkled on top of it. We ran them through again, and they were not much better. I think the washing machine would work better as far as cleaning, but I don't think the cap washer/shaper is sturdy enough to put through the washing machine without breaking. We may test that since we have a front-loader with no agitator. I'm not impressed, but the husband does say the washer/shaper helps keep the caps from collapsing when they're drying, so that's something.

I just used these for the first time ever! We have a ton of baseball hats that are so dirty and gross and smell like oily hair yuck! These worked awesome!!!! Kept the shape and cleaned them up nicely! just make sure you don't overload the washer with other items. These work best when they are completely submerged and moving around in the washing machine.

I've use these several times. I washed my caps in the top tray of the dishwasher. If you have areas which have stains spray prewash on those areas.Helps bring the shape back to your caps as well.

Very sturdy construction. Does not come unattached in washer even as a single item in my front loader washer.

I used it to clean my caps that starting molding. I hand wash my hats and scrub it but I wanted to maintain the shape. So i just use this to dry the hat for a couple of days on the line. Works for me for my usuage.

So far I have been overly satisfied with this device. Have not used in washing machine as yet, but was able to use in dish washer. Works very well. Constructed well and user friendly.
