H2O Survival Water Filter Travel Straw MAX, 530 Gallons

The filter is lightweight (2.5 oz. when wet), there's no iodine taste or smell, however I found it extremely difficult to draw tap water. The best I could do was about 100ml/min and that was after several tries sucking as hard as I could. I assume the filter was defective, so I returned it for a refund. Gotta wonder why flow rate is not included in the description……..would be helpful for comparison shopping.

This water straw is the best one I have found. Unfortunately some people have experienced problems with it, but Survival Max seems to have taken care of that problem. I bought 1 for each member of my family and I plan on buying more for storage. This is a great product and I would recommend it to anyone. Bought to supplement other filters in BOB with better known names. Have not tested, hope I never have to. May try on Camping trip when it cools off. If I do I will edit this review. Fits well in EDC bag.

I ordered this product to take with me overseas. After hours of reviewing portable filters I chose the H20 Max because of how well the filter is advertised. When I received it and tried it on bottled water, it worked fine (although difficult, but it's to be expected because of pore size). 2 days later I tried it out again (day before my flight) and it was near impossible to suck water out. I won't be buying anymore products from this company and I suggest all buyers to try out this product, because I've read a lot of reviews of people purchasing it and storing it in case of emergencies.

I had to use a soda bottle and I don't drink anything but water. Even then it was hard to get a good flow even when squeezing the soda bottle with kung fu grip.

really have not used it but it went into my bugout bag. It was the only straw that would purify over 500 gal. of water. well worth the price if it works half as good as advertised

I think this is One of the Better Filters, I use it in combination with a Ceramic Filter I love, but doesn't provide the Viral Protection I want. So, I run them Tandem. Water Tests Clear!
