Amazon Basics 5-Blade Extra Smooth Razor for Women with Moisturizing Strips, Handle, 2 Cartridge Refills & Shower Holder (Previously Solimo)

These are the best razors out there. The ones I was buying the bic women's 5 blade, they no longer carry. They've been out of stock since Christmas can't find them anywhere. I've tried every other brand and I'm sick of shopping around and wasting money, this is the best razor like someone else said the razor blade last a long time, I have very coarse hair. like a man's stubbly Beard, is how my legs feel when I don't shave. So I have to shave every day. I love these razors, but what I don't like is they put this ridiculous, thick jelly substance all around the top portion in the bottom and I have to soak it in hot water to get it off so I can get a closer shave, otherwise all I'm doing is nicking the ends of my hair. and I get out of the shower put lotion on it feels like I didn't even shave. So if you put them in hot water and soak that gooey substance off that, I'm assuming they put on. So people that don't know how to shave don't cut themselves to pieces, then your good! then this is the best razor out there and it's the best price too. Hopefully, when people catch on, they don't jack the price of this up too like everything else. 5 stars! Does work for course, thick hair,But only after you get that thick jelly substance off by soaking the razor blades in hot water for a couple hours

I actually got on Amazon to order some of my usual razor blade cartridges and happened to run across this deal. Since the price of this (a razor, a holder, and 12 extra cartridges) was better than 4 of my normal cartridges, I thought I would give it a try, if I didn’t like it I could always go back to my old kind. Plus this one has 5 blades and my previous one has 4. I’m always skeptical bc I have somewhat course hair and usually men’s razors feel better on my legs. To my surprise, I am extremely pleased with the results of this razor! It may be my imagination but it seems a little wider, like it achieves the job faster. Also I didn’t have to shave over the same spot two or three times to get it smooth. No nicks at all, it glides right over every curve and angle with precision. The gel strip on it left my legs feeling smooth and silky. So I had to buy my daughter one to try and she loves it just as much as I do. Definitely a great value for the money. The holder hasn’t fallen off the wall yet which is unusual considering all the other ones I’ve had constantly fell off. The do have a set with a razor, a holder, and one extra cartridge if you don’t buy 12 without knowing how you will like it, but I honestly don’t see how anyone wouldn’t love it. I’m very impressed with it and will stick with this razor.

I have been on the hunt for a good razor for what feels like years. I had a go-to razor I used all throughout my teens and early 20s, but the price went up and the quality went down and I felt like I was starting over at square one all over again I think I have probably tried over 20 different razors from different brands including monthly subscription boxes. I tried all the creams on the market as well. Nothing worked for my sensitive skin. Razors would cut or scrape me, the creams would give me chemical burns. I was starting to feel so, so desperate for something that would work well for my skin. I've been eyeing these razors for a long while now, but never bit the bullet until today. I finally decided to give these a try and I am so, so happy I did! Now on to the razor itself! I'll start with the downside. It's difficult to put on a new razor blade to the handle. I had put it up on my shower wall with the holder it came with and this is probably user error and not the brand itself, but it fell off the wall about an hour into hanging there, and the blade popped off. I decided to toss it and put a fresh one on seeing as how you're meant to put it on the handle while its still inside it's plastic case. This part took forever to figure out and again, this may be user error, but I've had similar razors and they always click right on. Maybe it'll just take some getting used to. Now the plus side, I have never been able to shave like the girls in the commercials who go up their whole leg in singular swipes. I always get freaked out going over sensitive bits and work in sections that take forever. With this razor, I could go up in singular swipes. No nicks whatsoever, and using the handle, I felt safe. I didn't feel anxious about nicks or scrapes like I have been with other razors. It felt good to use, and I felt safe using it. Having tried so many others on the market, accidents were bound to happen and I have been so anxious of cutting myself ever since. But this razor felt safe to me. It's hard to describe, but I didn't feel anxious using it. This would be an excellent razor for anyone just starting out shaving, or who have trouble navigating other razors. With past razors, I'd shave, get nicks, get bumps, and within hours, have prickly hair again. Not with this razor. My legs felt so smooth immediately after, and even still. I've kept an eye out for prickles or bumps, but nothing. It feels as smooth and soft as my legs did after using the creams, but without the chemical burns which is exactly what I've searched high and low for. This is an excellent razor, and you really, really can't beat the price. It's comfortable, safe to use, and my legs feel healthy and smooth. If you have sensitive skin, or are just starting out shaving, or just really, really want a dang good razor, this is the one.

Razor works great! I have not had it long enough to figure out the life span of one razor head, but I use the razor to shave my legs and the first couple uses have left my legs very smooth. The razor appears sharp, without being too sharp where it cuts skin. My only complaint is that the soap that is build around the razor head, often hardens and gets stuck into the razor lid and it can sometimes be annoying to get the lid off. If you do not use the lid, it will leave a soap residue on the spot it is left, but this is a minor issue in the shower. Overall I think it’s a good quality for price!

Same quality as Venus even better. Came with a full package and certainly budget friendly. I probably tried all razors in the market and this is def one of my favorite

These work just as good as the name brand product for a lot less money.

These work well but get very gooey when wet. I use a gel shave cream so it’s a bit messy. Great value though, just don’t use with shaving cream/lotion

Honestly not sure how these have any positive reviews.. they are trash! I have been shaving for almost 20 years at this point. You can forget about a close shave with these razors. I have never experienced a razor that left noticeable stubble after passing the same area 2 or 3 times. I typically just use body wash and never have had an issue with getting smooth skin until I used these. I bought these to save money but now I’m spending more money because I have to buy shaving cream now to get smooth skin. Completely defeats the purpose of why I bought these. Not to mention I’m constantly applying more pressure than normal which is causing me to scrape and cut my skin! Talk about painful. You will end up with the worst razor bumps of your life! I have very fine, ultra blonde hair on my upper thighs. I shave my upper thighs around once a month. I used this razor to shave my thighs and was left with massive red, painful, ugly bumps. I have never experienced razor bumps this bad! It literally looks like my thighs are breaking out in a massive rash. Not cute! If the unsmooth skin and razor bumps aren’t enough to scare you away, be prepared for the worst razor burn of your life too. I shaved my bikini area with these razors and my skin legit feels like it’s on fire! It feels like someone took open scissors and dragged them across my skin. It is beyond painful how much my bikini area stings. I feel like I have a thousand tiny cuts that I can’t see but definitely can feel. My skin is so red and irritated from using these blades. I immediately went to the razor reviews because I only saw good reviews (which is why I decided to order these). Well apparently there are TONS of bad reviews from people having the same issues that have been pushed down to the bottom of review section! I gave this 5 stars in the hopes that they don’t push the review down and people can save themselves from having the same experience as many others have had from these blades. I have the pink razor blades from Amazon that I use on my travel Venus razor and have never had an issue with those. I decided to try these because they were cheaper than the pink ones. Well I can clearly see why! I’ll be switching razors asap. Save your skin and don’t buy!
