Certified Organic 100% Natural Latex Mattress Topper - Soft - 3 Inch - Full Size - Organic Cover Included.

I bought this to put on top of our traditional mattress. My husband likes a firm mattress and I like a soft mattress. This is amazing. I’m sleeping really well and love it. I took it out of the shrink wrap and aired it out for about two hours and put it on the bed and it’s perfect. I highly recommend it.

The seem good quality and it off-gassed relatively quickly (a few days). However I'm still not entirely sold on the firmness of them. I got this to replace a memory foam topper that was really comfortable, but was just too warm for me. This latex topper is somewhat cooler, but only because you don't sink into it like memory foam. It has softened up since purchasing it last year, or I'm getting more used to it... likely both. However I still miss the comfort of my old memory foam topper.

We first bought a different latex topper that was labelled as “all natural” and it took several weeks to air out the overwhelming smell. We used it for months and still had bak pain. I don’t blame that company for individual back pain, of course. I mention that to give a full picture of our experience. The smell never fully went away. Eventually, we lifted the topper to rotate it, and the underside (the side touching the mattress itself) was very moldy. We were horrified. Fast forward to a new mattress and all kinds of expensive efforts and experiments to relieve some morning back pain, and we ended up taking a risk on this organic latex mattress topper.We expected it to smell for a while too, though hoping for a better result than the previous one. This organic latex topper arrived and it had ZERO smell to it at all!! Absolutely no odor at all! No chemical off-gassing, unlike the previous non-organic one we got from a different company. “All natural” is not organic. This topper is GOLS certified! …GOLS and/or GOTS certified is what you ALWAYS want to look for. Those are most stringent and comprehensively strict quality-control certifications in the world for anything that is genuinely and actually organic. Feel free to do further research on it if you are called to do so, and you will see that this is true. GOLS or GOTS certified is what you want every time, and you will never have harmful off-gassing chemical smells again.PS. Still experiencing morning back pain, sadly, but at least this mattress topper is actually organic and truly without harmful chemicals. We can breathe well with this one!

My Certified GOLS Queen Size 3" Soft topper came in today at 11:30am (12-17-2019)Came in a box 10"x10"x44", weighs about 44lbs.Opened the box at top, threw the box on the mattress width wise and pulled out the box, leaving the cellophane wrapped topper on the mattress.Unrolled topper standing at the foot end of my mattress, just rolled the topper forward and then pulled it back, forward, back etc....at some point the decompression of the latex foam will start to split the cellophane and it will slowly decompress.Absolutely no odor of any kind or off gassing during the 11 hours of decompression.The topper was a perfect fit for my Queen size mattress.I ordered mine with the cotton cover (encasement) and glade that I did (highly recommend that), being a Queen size, it was folded across its width, so I had to turn it 90 degrees so that the NESTLED tag and zipper would be at the foot of the mattress. Since it was encased, that made it easy to slide on the existing mattress cotton quilt (I'm going to leave that on the mattress for now).It has labels at the head of the topper (opposite the zipper and NESTLED tag) stating that its GOLS certified.The encasement cover is stretchy and feels strong but it is somewhat sheer, not to be used as any kind of water absorption/wicking cover. It's just there to retain (encase) the latex foam, which is what I want and I recommend getting it. Be sure to use a mattress spill protector.I was concerned about the height of the topper as I have seen a reviewer show that his/there’s was 2.5 inches.I can positively state that mine is 3” as ordered (very happy about that), I measured it after about 1.5 hours of decompression.Never having slept or layed on a latex mattress, I had a hard time deciding what firmness to get (soft or medium) to soften my firm mattress. I weigh 220 pound and sleep mostly on my sides in a fetal position or what I call the “Captain Morgan” position (on my side with one knee up and shoulder slightly forward about 45 degrees). Also at start of sleep I lay on my back with knees up or out, just to decompress from the days strains and stresses before falling asleep.12-18-2019:So, for me, at 220lbs and with some lower back issues, my first night’s sleep was very pleasant, the topper did exactly what I wanted it to do. The latex foam cushioned my mattress and at the same time gave me great support, fantastic!I might have been just as happy with the 2” topper but right now I have no regrets ordering the 3inch, I wish I knew about latex 20 years ago! Very happy with the topper and my purchase.Laughs and giggles:So I layed flat on my stomach ( as a stomach sleeper might do) just to see if my hips would sink in, nope, stayed flat on the topper, no lower back arching (pain). I don’t sleep that way but just wanted to check, this is just me, 220lbs. average build (no beer gut/ protruding stomach). If there's two of you having adult fun, make your own decision.Lastly, I previously had a 3inch Polyurethane foam topper and having lower back issues and my overall bed height being over 29inches, I built a 4inch platform/step and it makes a huge improvement in getting in and out of bed, just fyi.

This topper is affordable, but more importantly it adds the exact amount of extra softness my husband and I wanted for our new Talalay hybrid mattress. The mattress is fine, but I really wanted just a couple of more inches of the latex. This topper fit the bill! It cushions my pressure points so I wake up pain free, and it sleeps cool because if it’s construction with holes perfectly spaced in the latex. It’s certified organic, and is contained in an organic cotton cover. It makes getting out of bed very difficult in the morning because it’s like sleeping on a cloud. Love it and highly recommend it.
