I gave this flag pole light to my husband for Father’s Day. He loved it!, He installed it right away and we waited for it to charge the whole day in the sunlight. By night time we looked outside and thought the street light was kind of bright. Then we looked up at the flag pole and the light was coming from the Solar Flag Pole Light. It is bright enough to not only light our flag on our flag pole, but a nice light for the pathway to our home. Awesome product!

Originally gave this light a 5 star rating, it was bright, easy to install, and looked great on flagpole lighting our flag at night. The first 4 weeks of use the light would be on from dusk to dawn, but after 4 weeks the light now stays on for only 4 hours with full sunshine all day, this is a far cry from the advertised 10 hours. Almost 1 month since my last review of this product, and in all fairness I must drop my rating to a 1 star. Light now stays on for 2 to 3 hours with a full day of sun. My flag pole is in a wide open spot with absolutely no obstruction to the sun from sunrise to early sunset.

The light was super easy to install and seemed like it would be sufficient. I wasn't satisfied with the amount of light produced and every morning, despite living in Arizona, where we receive more than enough sunlight, the solar cells were depleted and the light did not last until sun up. About 3 months into the purchase I started to notice that the light wouldn't turn on every night as advertised and I should have returned it then. But it would eventually come back on again and so I stuck with it. It's been two weeks since I have seen it produce light, I've tried cleaning it, gone through the Amazon suggestions and am fed up with this thing. I am a veteran and proud to run my colors day and night but can't do so at night without a light. I'll be looking for a new and better light and am unfortunately throwing this thing in the trash...

This product is not sealed enough to withstand the outdoor elements.When I bought this light in October of 2019, I wrote a review exclaiming the light was BRIGHT! It was bright for about 5 months. Once the rains here in Tennessee started, the light filled with rain and corroded the parts inside, which caused the light to not function any longer.The company selling it on Amazon has three different storefronts, so I doubt I will have any type of warranty and if so how would I gain a refund?DO NOT BUY THIS LIGHT!

Purchased 2 of these in September and installed 1 on my 20 ft. flagpole in my front yard . This past week it has quit and it had water in it. So I installed the second one , hopefully it is "Waterproof" as it is advertised !! Would like someone to email me about the possibility of a refund or replacement !!

Very bright compared to all others I have had. Just installed, so long term reliability is unknown. It has a 3 brightness adjustment. I have it in high brightness, lasts all night (Texas August) - did have full day of scorching sun to charge it. Have not seen how it will work if a cloudy day or less sun. We probably won’t see any significant clouds for another month. :-(

its bright I like it I just want it to last more than three days. After all day sun it lasted 5 hours. It must be a glitch. I'll try again and see if there is value for the money. more later.ok I exchanged the light for a new one. Strange.. It doesn't shine all night nor 10 hours nor 8 hours. I'm questioning my purchase. I know there are several out there, I may choose another. It should last at least 8 hours. I checked the time 600pm to 1000pm. I'll check again. we have hade sunshine to two full days. lets see.

SEE BELOW: UPDATE # 2 -The above Solar Powered LED Flagpole Light was purchased Mid September 2019 primarily due to the the unit be advertised as "waterproof". Additionally, due to Seller's approval rating and number of LED lights shown. Unfortunately, less than 90 days in-service, the light failed and when disassembled for inspection, found water throughout the internal housing. Note also the rust stains having been absorbed into the plastic housing.UPDATE / UPDATE / UPDATE - the vendor in this instance provided response within 24 hours of the above review and also shipped a new light assembly in replacement of the defective unit. The waterproof feature being the primary culprit I would still recommend a small bead of a waterproof silicone caulk be added around the circumference of the housing (where the housing is assembled) THANKS VERY MUCH for the prompt response and actions taken to resolve this failure.UPDATE #2 - As stated above the vendor replaced the light and was placed in service on 01/09/2020. The replacement has now failed. The failure has to do with electrical issues within the light. Once dark, the light will come and stay lit for approximately 30 minutes and then spontaneously goes dark. Removing the light and manuallygoing through the light on/off switching, the light blinks 5 times and then shuts off. This light lasted approximately 8.5 months. Disappointing.
