Love this Pedometer! You Can't Go Wrong!
I love to walk and hike, usually 4-6 miles a day. Prior to delivery, I received an email from Blue Planet, the seller, to thank me for my purchase. I got the pedometer yesterday. The instructions were a little hard to follow, but I'm what you'd call 'electronically impaired.' I managed to set the device correctly, which speaks volumes about the product. It's a great pedometer! Once you input your stride, weight, time and distance preferences, you're ready to the hit the trail. It tells you how far you've walked, how many steps you took, how many calories you burned and beeps when you've met your step goal. I like the belt-clip or wrist loop option. Your purchase includes an extra battery. Mine did not. I emailed Blue Planet about the problem. They answered the very next day and said they were unable to send an extra battery but would provide me with a complete new pedometer as soon as their next shipment arrives in mid-November. I thought this was a fair (and generous) resolution of the battery omission. The seller emailed me AGAIN to thank me for reviewing their product and confirmed their promise to forward a second device. This is one of the best purchases I've made on Amazon. You could buy a cheaper pedometer, but this was well worth the extra few dollars. I'll update this review in November after the second unit arrives. Okay, I'm updating my review. I received a second pedometer, free of charge, from the seller a couple days ago. An extra battery was included. True, you can't turn it off, but I hike 6-8 miles a day and frankly, after that much hill-climbing and whatnot, the extra calories I burn around the house cleaning, cooking, playing with my cat, they're gravy. I just put the thing away when I get home. It's gratifying to me to know I burnt everything I ate!!! I'm chagrined to see this little item isn't available. Anybody who is serious about exercise and is as anal-retentive about it as I am ought to have one of these. I'd give it six stars if I could.

Like the functions and size but keeps resetting
Good price, good value, typical pedometer functions. When I first got it the battery would not make contact and could not get through the set up. I lifted the contact slightly and the battery worked ok and went through the setup successfully. Now the pedometer resets itself for no reason in the middle of the day. The steps, distance, calories and minutes all reset but the total accumulative steps keep going. I wanted an accurate pedometer that I could trust as I record all my steps, calories, etc. I would suggest buying a better item if you want accuracy. Amazon won't take it back so I guess I'll contact the seller. I'll be without a pedometer for a week or so I guess but there are no other options.

I love my pedometer so much
This product is the bees knee's! I love my pedometer so much! I bought it originally because I am a server and I wanted to know about how far I travel during a double. It's very small and has a tiny clip on the back so i usually clip it to my bra strap and tuck it under my tank to for work underneath my uniform. The pedometer measures steps you've taken, distance you've traveled, calories you've burned, and total time spent walking said steps. I thought that was amazing! It also has a 30 day memory and tells you how far you've gone within those 30 days. You can set goals for how many steps you want to take per day, it's wonderful! I recommend this product to anyone who wants to know just about how far they go.

I really liked the unit so I ordered another at no cost
Was looking for a Pedometer with a timer along with the steps and other standard features. This one qualified so I ordered it. Received it and found I could not set it up. Tried all the troubleshooting to no avail so I packaged it up and returned it using the provided label. I really liked the unit so I ordered another at no cost.I have had the new one four months now and use it every day. It works just great. The timer only records those minutes actually walking. Yes there is a regular clock as well.I highly recommend this affordable and easy to use Pedometer.

The features should be easier to adjust
Changing the settings is not very user friendly, without the instructions it would be nearly impossible. The display also goes blank, and when you press any button to bring it back up, you changed the screen mode.

Very nice pedometer
This is a very nice pedometer which keeps track of steps, calories burned and miles walked. The only thing is, since I work somewhere where I'm on my feet all day but only make short treks, it doesn't really count all my steps since it doesn't start counting until the 11th step.

Setup Instructions are a joke, right? Right???
Absolutely the worst setup instructions I have ever read! I have never had trouble programming any digital equipment I've ever purchased until this one. To say the instructions didn't make sense is being kind. I plan to return this pedometer with some speed. The manufacturer was kind enough to send me a chart to help; unfortunately, that too didn't help.BTW, the recessed "reset" feature on the back of the pedometer did not respond at any time to clear what I'd entered in error, and short of setting it up by the use of hammer became such an attractive idea, I figured I'd just give it up.Bah!

Worked fine for two weeks, then failed miserably
This pedometer worked like a dream for two weeks. I was totally enthusiastic about it keeping track of steps, calories, miles walked, etc. However, after two weeks it started acting up. First, it started reverting back to zero for no apparent reason. Then, it lost track of my personal measurements. Resetting it lasted about a day, then it lost everything again. I tried changing the battery and started all over again resetting all my data, only to have it fail again. Now, it won't even count my steps. Total waste.
