Lightweight, spacious, and keeps you dry.
I work as a Field Instructor and am out in the field 2 weeks at a time. I got this tent because it is lightweight and spacious. I personally use it for just myself and my gear. I like to keep all of my gear inside of the tent with me. The inside is spacious enough for two people, comfortably. The vestibule is fairly small and I think is just enough space to keep boots/camp shoes, and a few small items, but not a large pack. I got this tent because the small vestibule works in my favor: I wanted a lightweight 2 person tent that I can use for work and could also use in the summer months with my partner (with less gear). I live and work in the rainforest in Washington State and can confidently say this tent has kept me dry and I appreciate everything that it is.

Nice Tent
Even better than I was expecting; thanks BaiYouDa!Took it out for a couple of weekend trips and have been generally happy with the set up and take down. It's lightweight, and although there are better options for ultralight backpackers, I was looking for one I could hike in shorter distances. In terms of space, there's enough room for 2 people, but I think it's the perfect amount of space for me personally to be compact but not feel very enclosed.I especially like the attention to detail with their manufacturing process, showing heavy stitching in all of the right stress points.. My own research also identified many other tents with identical features of the BaiYouDa model, although the other (nearly similar) tents were more expensive. It seems tent manufacturers watch their competition, and know what sells well. Anyway, I had chosen the BaiYouDa on Amazon after an agonizing perusal of other tents on other websites. I discovered my Amazon prime membership could get the tent to me in two days with no shipping cost. It did arrive in 2 days after ordering, along with a BaiYouDa "footprint" (underneath tarp) to ensure no moisture on the tent floor. I set this tent up in the front yard with the help of one other person, although the design and instructions would allow anyone to set it up alone in about 10 minutes. A quick and easy set up, and incredibly strong after staking everything down. The tent stakes are the 90-degree type, aluminum, which I don't care for so much and so I ordered additional stakes of a different design just to make sure the stakes would not bend or break after repeated use. I'm sure the original stakes would work fine, anyway, but I like to be prepared with "extras" of everything. I do recommend the BaiYouDa "footprint" because it is also inexpensive and will protect the tent floor. I've always found it curious as to why tent manufacturer's don't include a "footprint" protector for their tents. Anyway, the zippers on the doors work perfectly, the two pop-up vents on the sides of the tent provide an adequate breeze when the rainfly is attached, and the overall canopy atop the tent is a perfect fit. I highly recommend this tent as an affordable and high-quality two person tent.

Best quality
I really like camping and outdoor sports so that I bought this tents which is really good.Wicked easy to set up and take down. Winds gusted to over 40 mph one night and the tent held up just fine. Rain was not an issue. Did 12 nights in ten different parks by myself. My two person tent would have fit two people just fine. Tent stakes could be stronger.Outer shell door can be held open using the velcro side windows. After use, remove the outer shell, pull up stakes, open the tent door and pick up the entire tent to shake out dirt. The tent poles will stay in place, holding shape and you can just flip the whole tent upside down. It is that easy. I love this tent!

Great tent
Loved this tent! My first backpack tent, and not a let down. The printed directions not great, but tent is so easy, the pictures alone were enough to put up. Very lightweight under 5 lbs, easy, and spacious. I just needed 1 person tent, but got 2 person since more room for gear, and it was light enough. Loved that the poles were all connected by cord, just had to insert each one. Free standing, seemed durable. Really easy to pick up and move when I wanted to nap with view of lake. Tall enough I had plenty room to sit up. Only issue- I don't see how it could be 4 season when tent is all open netting material. A rainfly isn't enough to make it 4 season. Still love it and keeping!

Great tent! Great price!
I purchased this tent as my first backpacking tent and it exceeded my expectations.Back out in the wild, the tent withstood a fairly substantial amount of snowfall and by Sunday morning, departure day, I had to pack up as swiftly as possible so I pretty much crammed the tent back in it’s bag without having to be overly careful so I can vouch for it’s durability! There is much to admire about this serviceable tent besides the aforementioned durability: cost, weight, quality, ease of set up and size. If you’re by yourself like I was there’s tons of room for all of your gear. If it’s a friendly/loving couple using this tent then it will suit your needs just fine too. The two zippered entries come in handy in those situations. Overall I am very pleased with this addition to my backpacking gear and I highly recommend you buy one!

Pole snapped in half immediately.
The first time we set it up one of the poles snapped in half. We will be informing the company and asking them to replace the pole or getting a refund.

Five stars
It took me a while to set it up the first couple times, so luckily I was in my backyard. Definitely practice before you take it out in the backcountry.
