Litcessory 6-Pin to Cut-End Connector for Philips Hue Lightstrip Plus (Solder-On) (10 Pack, White - Standard 6-PIN V3 / WIZ Lightstrip)

Requires some soldering skill but works great
Can you use a soldering iron and multimeter? If so, these work really well for splicing lightstrips together. Just use some snippers and cut the lightstrip in the middle of the existing solder...then simply solder the new connector on. Test it to make sure you made a strong connection. One tip...when you are testing with real lightstrips, cycle through all the colors before mounting. if you missed a connection it's possible that white/bright works but red/green and/or blue will not shine.I found these worked much better than the snap-on cut-end connectors sold by this same company.

Too Flimsy for my Application
I really wanted to like this product and be able to use it to install the Philips hue Lightstrip Plus as an under cabinet lighting system. Unfortunately, it was too flimsy and bent rather than providing a strong, stable connection between the hue lightstrip and the other products within the Litcessory line. Please note that I tried the Litcessory 6-PIN TO CUT-END CONNECTORS first but found them unsuitable in providing an electrically-stable, pin-specific isolated connection (could not keep the adjacent wires isolated from each other).

So expensive for what they are
I needed this product to complete a custom Hue install. I contemplated getting 2m pitch connectors from eBay but in the end decided to buy the Litcessory version because I wanted them quickly. The holes are very small and I struggled to get Cat5e stranded cable to fit.At about £1.60 per tiny connector, these have to be the worse value electronics component I've ever bought.
