Your Cubase Studio

If you have an old computer running XP or 2000 and Cubase 4 - this is what you need. If you have a 64 bit operating system and computer, full Cubase 9 Pro, Elements 9 or Artist 9 - or later - this book will be little of little use. Although well written - the first half of the book deals with outdated computers and operating systems and how to optimize them for use with Cubase 4. It was written before 64 bit motherboards and software. Additionally, it doesn't touch on VST's or VSTi's aside from description and definition. It will not help you learn to use Groove Agent or Halion 4. When the book was released it was no doubt the best book - now however - it is long overdue for updating.

This is the book I needed to move me forward on my home recording projects. It's a much better book, for me, than others I have purchased for Cubase. I also got the "Midi Editing with Cubase" book from the same author and it is also very well written. I feel I can accomplish everything I wanted to do at home in Cubase with the help of these two books.

Thanks Steve, this is the most straight forward cubase book I have ever read. It goes beyond expectations and explain a whole lot of things in and around home recording in general.
