**Q: Is the outside ladder child proof , can you flip it up when not in use ?**
A: do not buy these steps, they are horrible - we spent hours putting them together and got them in the pool and 1. they do not stay down with the 2 sand weights and 2. the outside ladder literally just sits on top the steps that are in the pool, we took them apart to return them but the company refunded us without return (which was very nice) so they sit back in their boxes in my shed, if you are close to New Jersey you can come pick them up for free :)

**Q: can you place the ladder on the inside of the pool and the steps on the outside?**
A: No, this is not possible.

**Q: Does the ladder have a lock out safety feature?**
A: The hand rails are not very sturdy. Steps feel hollow and have to step on the sides of stairs

**Q: What is the max weight capacity?**
A: I am not sure, but I can tell you this, I wouldn't buy it again, I wasn't impressed at all for the price, and it's not very sturdy at all!

This thing is not safe. It's wobbly and not sturdy at all. Instructions are terrible and hard to understand. Don't waste your money.

### ⭐⭐⭐ Wasn't a stable ladder for a larger lady.

I looked for a long time for a ladder I thought would replace the one the kids broke. The ladder came sooner then expected. The assembly instructions were poor but I believed we put it together correctly. The ladder was placed in the pool and the sand bags were placed under the ladder to help it stay submerged. Going up the ladder to get in the pool was fine, the problem came when I would do down the ladder into the water. The steps didn't seem to settle on the bottom of the pool and would shift under my feet making me feel like I was going to fall or the slim plastic hand rails would break. When getting out of the pool, I made sure the ladder was pushed up to the inside of the pool wall. The top rails are flimsy and I didnt feel they could support my 250lb frame. Going down the stairs out of the pool also felt wobbly. We moved the ladder to several different areas around the pool where the soil was higher or lower (the yard has a grade to it). We also tried to raise and lower the level of the ladder without any improvement. The company was very kind and helpful and I had my refund 2 days after the boxes were returned. Nice folks!! I would do business with them again.
