The 5-function long term care bed provides adjustable head and foot sections, adjustable height, and Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg positions. Specifically, the motor and controlling system of the bed is from Dewert, Germany, which is the most quiet and efficient motor on the current market. All the functions are conveniently integrated into by an ergonomic hand pendent that is durable but touch-sensitive. The bed is also equipped with 3’’ aluminum casters with bearing that performs well on hard surfaces such as concrete, tile, and wood. It will not mark or scratch floor surfaces. A four-piece locking system locks the bed in place. The aluminum frame with metal slats can accommodate up to 450 lbs. Lastly, the wooden bed end panels are sturdy and impact resistant.
