Totally works. Not one mozzie got in
I took this to Colombia as the mosquitos there are voracious. Easy to set up, and very cosy inside. I had NO hooks in the room to add the extra security, but the product worked free standing on its own.Not one bite in 2 weeks. This product just works.

Disappointed not worth the money!
Came with no instructions, metal frame did not go easily in the slot and was jutting out.Very poorly made!

Very well made
Ordered double bed version and used it on holiday. I was expecting the usual chinese-made rubbish but this item is extremely well made and is very good value. I particularly liked the fact that the zip pulls glow in the dark! Worked a treat!

Brilliant
These were a fab investment for our summer holiday. Easy to set up and take down. Lightweight for travel. We got 2 so the kids could read in bed in the evening. We went away for 2 weeks and travelled with hand luggage only and still had plenty of room in our bags once these were packed. Wish we’d thought about investing sooner. For next summer I will definitely purchase the double one.Only downside was my youngest fell out of bed in her sleep and the pole snapped so I will try and replace it.

Nightmare to put together! Please redesign!
Bought this to go on a sahara trek. Absolute nightmare to assemble. In theory & according to the video i found the simple design should be easy. It potentially is a brilliant product. The pole is a nightmare to put into the holes & even worse to take out. Got there eventually but the design can be so much easier. Dear designers, can you split the pole in 2 & feed in at each end to meet in the middle & have a nut to screw in at the top where both ends meet....surely a better solution?!

Not freestanding and did not fit bed
My friend and I purchased these nets before a trip to India and Nepal. We stayed in hostels for the majority of the time and found it very difficult to keep the nets upright. Firstly they were not long enough to fit over any of the beds and which meant the bottom was just sitting on top of the bed. I don't know what mattresses you expect these to fit over but they certainly were nowhere near the length of the mattresses we slept on. We stayed in around 8 different beds and they did not fit any. Secondly they were not freestanding. We struggled to keep them standing up and often found ourselves with a net collapsed on top of us in the night which was really annoying. They only stood up if they were wedged against something which is not what we inferred by 'freestanding'. It was quite distressing as we were in the middle of a dengue epidemic and the struggle we had with these nets added to the stress of that. Extremely disappointed with this especially after spending this amount of money on them.
