HardyPet 90-Count Skin and Coat Supplement Bottle for Pets

My 4 year old German Shepherd was shedding way too much for winter time of year. Also, he was constantly scratching himself. We live on a farm and our dog is treated as a family member staying inside with us until someone has to go handle outside chores and then the dog come with us. My dog had been to the vet several times for the shedding/scratching issue and we had tried several different meds and shampoo/conditioners & changed his food many times with out much success. After being on Hardypet Supplement for about 40 to 60 days I could really tell a difference. His mane & coat appearance looked better than it every had. I was even having friends and strangers comment on how great his coat and his mane looked. I had never had that happen before. Also, his constant scratching has stopped. I do not know what brought on the scratching as it had not been a problem until the early fall of 2017. Bottom line: Good product for my dog. Very satisfied with end results.

My dogs love these and think they are a treat. They also seem to be helping to slow down the itching.

This was the review (see below) I wrote for Hardy Pet's Canine Pro 6 supplement. It also applies to this supplement I gave them to Mollie together to get what her vet said was a food allergy under control. After researching I suspected yeast overgrowth. I believe I was right since using the supplement combination cleared the condition up in less than two weeks!This combined with hardy pet skin and coat supplement cleared up my puppys skin condition in less than 2 weeks. She was itching had hotspots and thin coat. Vet wanted to give her steroids but I wanted to take a homeopathic approach. I tried a couple of other powdered products before this but she wouldn't eat it if added to her food.This is a chewable tablet and i had know problem getting her to take it.Mollie's hotspots and itching are gone, her coat has come in thick and soft.I highly recommend this product.If you dog has itching skin, (probably due to candida yeast overgrowth", at least give this and the skin and coat supplement a try. Its better than using steroids.

After waiting 5 days for them to even ship the package 10 days total for delivery I was very disappointed in this product. We used for 30 days with no affect on my dogs coat or skin at all. It was a waste of $50 bucks. Though I was making a good choice. Can't always trust the hype.

We have struggled for 4 years. Vet has not helped at all. within 3 days, my dog is improving. Her playfulness has increased, her itching all over has almost disappeared. Her skin is softer. My dog was one of the ones who will not just eat it outright. I have to break it into lil chunks and roll it in a lil peanut butter. I then mix it into her food, on top because mine won't eat it all sometimes. She is unusual and doesn't woof her food down. This stuff is awesome. You have to try it, I think it is worth every penny!

Our dog has been suffering from apparent allergies for the last few years. The problem seems to be getting worse as time goes by and steroid treatments at the vet have become less and less effective. In addition, these treatments can only be given 1 or 2 times per year without possible serious side effects. Our dog has been wearing a cone constantly for a couple of months and not getting better so I decided to try supplements before shelling out the big bucks for a dermatologist. Started with Hardypet Skin & Coat and gave it to our dog for 3-4 weeks and noticed no improvement in our dog's itching. On the plus side, it is easy to administer this supplement to our dog and she likes it.Ultimately I decided to try another supplement in conjunction with this one and that was Scruffypet Pure Omega 3 Fish Oil For Dogs. After a week of her taking both supplements her itching problem ceased. No more cone, no more chewing and licking herself raw. Just a happy, healthy dog. I don't know whether the Hardypet is helping our dog or not. Eventually I will ween her off the Hardypet and keep her on the Scruffypet fish oil and see what happens. For now I will keep her on both until we at least get thru the holidays. YMMV.

Not sure if works as rated since my dogs won’t eat them

I have been buying Hardy Pet's regular wafers and noticed a big difference in my 14 yr. old pooch. He came to life and acts like he did when he was 5 yrs. old. I didn't see the skin & coat variety until now and am equally as impressed with it. My dog has allergies and skin issues, always biting at his feet. After putting him on this supplement, have seen big changes in the decrease of biting his feet as well as his skin conditions have gotten a lot better! Wonderful product!
