I have ADHD and I used to consider myself "time-blind". My ability to sense how much time has passed developed significantly ever since I started using one of these. I also procrastinate less because I know things like washing a sink full of dishes only takes 15 mins, a task that seemed incredibly daunting to me previously.Thanks to this visual timer, my productivity skyrocketed in all aspects of my life. I have been carrying it with me everywhere, even to work. I eventually decided to purchase another one so I could leave one at work. However, my plans failed miserably because my husband started using it and basically claimed it as his own. He also carries it with him everywhere, home and work. Because we are both using our time more effectively now thanks to our visual timers, we have more free time to enjoy ourselves. My stress levels went down and I feel more in control of my life.Probably one of the best purchases of my life. 100% would recommend.

the product has a thin plastic or paper clock face behind the plastic cover. this arrived as crooked and wrinkly and not attached. Therefore, bc that clock face was not properly attached, the red dial completely popped in front of the entire clock face with in 2 uses. another could honestly be design defect. the red dial should have an overlap so that it is guaranteed to catch properly in the clock face.

LOVE this! I'm an OT and have used these, and apps on my phone for visual timers. I spent a lot of time researching before I chose this one. It is quiet! That's huge. It's easy to manage, to work, to see. My kids love it. It saves me from answering the "when is it going...." We use it when we need to go somewhere and I can set a timer for when it's time to put shoes on. even my 2 year old gets it. I've also used it when I need some focus time and I can set it so they know to play independently until the time is up. I researched them all....buy this one.

My 3.5 year old loves this! It is THE solution to ending the never ending questions of when when when. However, I gave 4 stars because in the instructions it strictly says DO NOT TURN TIMER PAST THE 12.....as in when the timer goes off and it's just sitting there do not turn in counterclockwise direction or it could break. Well my daughter does not understand that concept and I have to be very diligent about making sure she does not get a hold of it and start cranking away (as toddlers love to do). Other then that, it is a great product, easy to read and perfect to help littles get a visual to better understand the concept of time.

I purchased this timer seven months ago and have used it about two dozen times. Recently it started making a ticking sound when I set it (it's not supposed to) and I noticed the red indicator wasn't moving. I replaced the batteries but it still ticked and did not count down. Clever design but the quality seems to be lacking. I'm disappointed that it lasted only about a half year when the old-school mechanical timers would literally last decades.

Doesn’t make ticking noise, so noT obtrusive. I like the vanishing red zone to indicate elapsed time. It beeps when it’s done. No batteries to run down, very simple design. For us it’s useful for schoolwork when you want a quick visual of how much time is left when working on an assignment, but you don’t want the distraction of ticking.

I love using this with my kids. I can help teach my 5 year about time and numbers, but I can also limit the questions about "how long until..." to an extent. I like to use this for when we have an hour or less until things like screen time, leaving the house for grandma's, eating a meal, etc. Anything that I can tell them to set the timer and when it goes off they know what's next. My 5 year old loves setting it himself. My 3 year old loves making it ding. So we often put it up somewhere he can't reach.My only "complaint" is that it sounds like a smoke detector when it goes off, so for the first few weeks I kept thinking something was burning when it went off. It caused some confusion and laughs for me.

I liked this product, but after a few months it stopped working. What I mean is, when the dial was turned, the red portion that tells how much time is left doesn't work. The red part is not there. When I contacted the company it was past the return date, so I was unable to return it. I was pretty much out of luck. I was really bummed because I used it with my ADD students who needed extra reminders of when time was going to be up.
