The New Yorker Book of Doctor Cartoons

I purchased this for my father and he absolutely loved it! The pictures are funny with clear crisp detail and amazing wit!

Funny, of course. I probably missed something in the description, but this was a small book, maybe 4 x 4 inches.

This is an awesome book. My doctor really appreciated the cartoons, to the extent he takes pics of them and sends them to colleagues. If you want to give a gift in the medical community this is a cheap gift.

The cartoons are funny… If you have good reading glasses. The.”book” is the size of two postage stamps.

So small pages hard to get to...cartoons in creases.Butt...funny!

These books are quite tiny, as in pocket-size. The original hardcover is a standard size book, but not this edition, although the only difference in the heading is paperback versus hardcover. While poetry can be lovely in pocket size books, detailed cartoons suffer in the miniature edition. In the original, the cartoons are wonderful. Fabulous gift of laughter for someone who is hospital-bound, which was my intention, but this edition is too small to be fully enjoyed, especially by anyone with vision affected by age/illness. Oddly, even though it was only two weeks after receiving the books when I tried to return them (because they are just too small for the older patients for whom these are intended) according to the Amazon site these are only eligible to be replaced with others of the same item, these are not eligible to be returned for a refund. Peculiar because Amazon has been good about returns in the past. Go figure. So be careful to check the size listed in the fine print on each edition that you consider before you order!

creative cartoons .. enjoyable read

Lo compré pensando que era un libro y lo que me ha llegado es una especia e block pequeñito de tapa blanda que mide 11cm de lado. El precio por este artículo en miniatura es un abuso. La experiencia es como en esos memes donde compras una cama y cuando llega a tu casa es una cama de casa de muñecas. Decepcionante.

Das Format von ca. 12 cm x 10 cm war viel zu klein. Schwer lesbar.
