Grand Theft Auto V Hardcover – Limited Edition, September 17, 2013

recently got into GTA V. i quickly realized that this game was HUGE and there was no real way i could play this game without some guidance. i came to amazon (my pretty much go to for anything) and found this guide used for about 15.00. (brand new its about 34.00). the guide has full colored photos, maps, and explanations about everything you need to know. the story mode is very long. the main missions (not including smaller missions/strangers and freaks/etc.) are 69 total! so this game is time consuming, but very fun. stay far away from the online gta v. it's nothing but a bunch of morons that kill you every 10 minutes. not fun at all..i have seen others have said that this guide isn't for xbox one version etc.. i haven't ran into any issues as far as that goes.This book was published in 2013.

This is probably the biggest strategy guide book I have ever owned. It's over 430 pages long, it contains highly detailed complete walkthrough of the entire single-player story. There are mission maps which identify key objectives, specify targets, and chart the fastest path to 100% completition. There is a complete coverage of all off-mission activities and sophisticated mini-games. The maps in this strategy guide cover every mile of this world that's bigger than Red Dead Redemption, Grand Theft Auto IV, and Grand Theft Auto San Andreas combined. Grand Theft Auto V limited edition strategy guide has a hardcover casing, it has a collection of Grand Theft Auto V illustrations that are really cool and can be considered as extras and it also features all of the tips and tactics that you need to complete the game with 100% completition. It also features an exclusive lithograph of official Grand Theft Auto V artwork, however I was a tad dissapointed that it wasn't an actual full sized lithograph, but it is only a printed matt A3 sized print...So to sum this up, I thought it is a wonderful strategy guide with lots of cool illustrations and information about the game, but I was really dissapointed that the lithograph is smaller than I expected.

Are you a R* or GTA V fanatic? What are you still waiting for?I have had this guide since GTA V launched on the "old-gen" consoles and it is great. If you're a collector, it's a must have!There is no part of the story mode (100%) that is not covered by this guide. (Exception: The returning player content added in the XB1/PS4 version of the game is not covered. The guide was made for the originally released version.) In fact, because of the way GTA V tracks story mode progress, this guide will actually take a player beyond the 100% completion rating.All activities, side quests, Main story missions, strangers and freaks, random events, hobbies and past-times are covered, as well a miscellaneous section that takes care of the rest. This edition also features a collector's edition art section--which is awesome.If you're just looking for a decent guide, this is not a bad option at all. I have owned quite a few game strategy guides and this is probably one of the best, most accurate, most polished ones I have seen. That is not to say it is without typos, but when it comes to strategy, this guide will get you through it.

Love the fact that its a hardcover strategy guide, more games need to go this route. The book is excellent to use for single player. Has detailed steps and explanations for every mission, stunt jump, and collectable needed to obtain 100% completion. The guide also fully explain every gun, stat, and car mod in full detail. My only criticisms is that the guide explains almost nothing regarding GTA: Online and the Vehicles in game and the maps in the book are far too small. A few of the explanations regarding car mods, stunt jumps, gun mods, and how to boost some of the stats will work for GTA: Online. The book does have pictures and statistics of most of the Cars available in single player and online mode but not every car. Some free online user made guides have better details regarding cars and I would highly recommend using them. Overall I would recommend the strategy guide. Definitely helpful.

I give this guide 5 stars because I like how it goes thru every mission with tips. The missions are sort of in Chronological order. Meaning main story missions that haven't been unlocked shouldn't be before a mission(or path of missions) already available. This isn't a problem for me, but if you're planing on following this guide mission for mission, you should be able complete them all no problem.In this guide you will find several maps of Los Santos revealing weapon, armor, health and special quest item locations.You will also find a full vehicle/aircraft guide pre GTA update 1.06, which means no bifta or whatever the other two vehicles are. Also, without looking at it I believe the pre-order vehicles (Hotknife/Khamelion/Carbon/Elegy) are not in this guide either.These are all conveniently located at the beginning of the guide so you can get straight into wreaking havoc as soon as you get into the free mode part of story.Many sites online will help you get to 100% completion for this GTA V. But if you got the 22 spare bucks and you don't want to bother searching the web when you can have it all in one, this guide is a great buy.Also I must note that none of the online missions were included, nor is there any online specific information in the guide. At least when I bought this to go with my preorder.

The media could not be loaded. I ordered this used it was a little scuffed but It was like new inside quality. Im not 100% sure but I couldnt find the lester missions. Or any stock market info of what stock to buy and when and that was one of my main reasons for buying this. And ended getting transparent notes to add this info in. It isn't a big deal for me tho.
