This coffee maker is wonderful!
I'm only on my second day with this and I'm super excited about this machine as not only are the aesthetics so appealing, but it makes a fantastic brew of coffee! This is my first NINJA product and as of right now they have a future customer for a long time! I have mostly owned regular coffee pots that did your conventional 12 cups, but at one time I did own an espresso and cappuccino maker. I've had cheap machines and what I considered to be expensive ones, but never one like this. I'm extremely pleased with it and would like to list some of the highlights.Pros:-Super easy to clean (The water reservoir, filter basket and filter holder all come out and apart smoothly)-Versatile (Does single cup, travel and carafe forms)-Keeps coffee hot (I'm using the metal carafe) and because of this I love how I can take the pot with me anywhere in my home to pour some coffee while it stays hot.-Easy and fun to use (all the different types of coffee and beverage sizes are pretty straightforward) and as a bonus, it comes with a detachable coffee scoop that has listed on it the suggested serving size for each kind of beverage.-An affordable and high quality product for what it does-Makes delicious coffee! (I'm not using anything fancy for grinds, yet the coffee it has brewed has left me satisfied and in my opinion could rival a specialty coffee shop, and is MUCH cheaper!)Cons:NoneThis was well worth the money spent

Excellent! Thermal carafe is worth the extra price. Delicious coffee fast. Five Stars!
We've had this coffee maker for about 6 months now and it's *great*! Needed a replacement for our single pod coffee maker - we drink A LOT of coffee so I wanted to get back to a traditional coffee pot using measured grounds. Definitely wanted a thermal carafe to keep the coffee hot without a warming plate. Found this fantastic machine - got it as a gift for my husband - highly recommend it. We use 5 large scoops per full size carafe, 1 large scoop per single cup, and it's delicious Every Time!PROS:- Delicious piping hot coffee every time, both carafe and single cup- Easy grip easy fill water reservoir with easy to read measurement markings- Measuring scoop attachment fits into the side- Easy to adjust for full, half carafe; single cup large or regular, and travel mug- Coffee stays hot in the carafe- Can use either cone shaped paper #4 filters OR the reusable basket- Easy to use lighted control panel- Control adjustment via rotating knob and push button selectors- Frothing blender tucks away behind the machine, works well for whipping milk/cream and is super easy to clean- Easy to clean - for the most part.- Carafe has filling tube inside, attached to the lid, which fills the carafe from the bottom up. Great for flavor consistency.- Good iced coffee - our young adult kids drink ice coffee and it's great this machine can quickly make that.- Fast! Even a full carafe fills quickly.- The fold down stand for single cups is great - keeps the coffee cup closer to the drip, no splashing or mess, folds back up out of the way when not in use.- Grounds basket swings out from the top, easy to remove either paper cone filters or the reusable filterCONS:- The underside top, above the basket, needs to be wiped down and cleaned every few uses - that can be messy.

This is the first "expensive" coffee machine that I have ever purchased. I use quotes because you can go crazy with coffee and espresso machines and spend thousands. This buddy was $200, and is basically a drip machine "plus". You can make standard brew, strong brew, specialty brew, and even iced brew. I've tried everything except for the iced feature (doing that tomorrow).Aside from functions, let's talk form-factor. It's a pretty machine. No question. The actions are crisp and intuitive. I like that the carafe is an insulated pot, and it doesn't just sit on a burner getting charred. To be clear, there is no burner. The coffee stays warm in the double walled carafe. Makes sense to me! The reservoir is easy to take on/off. The action of the basket(s) are smooth. Everything just seems to be quality, design and material-wise.Now for my favorite feature. The milk frothing mechanism. I LOVE the milk frothing mechanism. To be clear, there is no steamer here. You have to microwave the milk to get it hot. Then you use the frother to make yourself a latte jam. It's not St@rbucks, but it's still damn good. Ghetto-bucks is fine by me. I use a nice dark roast for the specialty drink option. Pro-tip for when you're doing the specialty option! After the brew finishes, close the drip mechanism, swing the basket out and use a spoon to move the coffee bloom around. Maybe lightly press on the grounds. Return the basket to it's "ready" position and re-open the drip mechanism. I do this twice, depending on how fine the grind is. What you get is an extra shot of tar black coffee in that yummy latte of yours. Hot damn. So good! Buy this machine.
