1/2 Overlay Soft Close Cabinet Hinge

These hinges have the perfect speed of close. It takes some getting used to having the auto close feature, but once you get used to it you wont be able to stand slamming cabinets again. If you have children that like to use cabinet doors as a ladder then you may have a problem with these bending. They are not the most soild hinge you can get but then for this price your geting a bargain. I bought 50 of these when i made new cabinet doors for my kitchen. Be sure to get a 35mm forestner bit to install the hinge cups.Pros: Excellent close Easy installation Cons: Thin gauge metal can be bent more easily than more expensive hinges

For the money you can't beat these hinges. The soft close feature works almost throughout the entire range of the door swing which is very nice. They come supplied with mounting hardware for BOTH full overlay and 1/2" overlay, so whatever style cabinet(s) you have, you're covered. The only drawback is that these hinges do not come with mounting screws, and trying to find appropriate stainless screws at your local big box store is not likely, and the finish on nickel plated screws is duller than the hinge and mounts. Not a real big deal though. I noted another reviewer who indicated excessive shipping charges for multiple hinges, but upon checking out we did not experience this concern. Either way, I would check the bottom line price before completing the purchase just to be sure.

I bought these replacement hinges and fit perfect. A lot thinner than original already on my cabinets, but will do the job.

I'm a professional cabinet maker. This is a great hinge for your cabinet doors. But WHY would the store expect us to pay double for shipping of what the product is worth??? I was getting billed 114 for shipping and the hinges were only 64.00!!!!!!!! COME ON !!!!!!!!!!
