when they state the towel is light weight yes that’s true but this is so light weight this is flat with no bulk at all! Other waffle towels that I have are so much heavier but still light weight. Not worth the $40.00 price tag

I just got this towel, so I cannot comment on its durability, and this is a crucial factor driving my purchase decision-making. Just after quality of manufacture. This is made of a lofty fabric. It has a little looser weave that other spa towels I have had, but it tightened up on the machine drying I gave it following its first wash. The dye did bleed some, and the manufacturers direction to use vinegar in the first wash is a good one. I was also happy to have the option for a dark blue as most of these spa towels are white...and I have grandchildren around and I really don't want to worry about hand prints. Hope it goes the distance.

Great quality towels...my boyfriend purchased a couple a year ago and they're the only bath towels we've used since. They've held up really well so I got a third for his son to use. A set or two of these would make a great wedding/housewarming gift. They have a high end look to them and I love the waffle texture. While they aren't as soft as some bath towels, I actually prefer the texture and absorbency these provide far more.

I moved to an area with high humidity and noticed my towels stayed damp overnight. I have experienced using waffle-weave towels in Europe and decided to try converting to them. When I looked online, Gilden Tree towels appeared to be of good quality. Although they are expensive, so far I really like them. Also, there are good instructions on how to wash them for first use and how to maintain them.

There is nothing special about these at all. They are grossly overpriced and overhyped, feel cheap and aren't so absorbent as to be noticeably different. A nice, high quality plush terry cloth towel is a far nicer experience and one that' I'll stick to.

The towel washes up beautifully. Love the texture, and feel. Expensive, but does look high end, in my opinion.

I was pleasantly surprised. Exactly what I wanted. It’s a bit expensive but I only bought one, just for me.

my favorite towels have been using them for the past 10 years. They dry my body and hair quickly and the towels themselves dry quickly once you hang them up. I also love the fact that you can wash them with bleach and take very little time to dry in the drier versus the standard terry towels.
