Slinger Airflow Werks Piston Pin Retainer Ring Installer and Remover SAW025

i took this tool out of the bag and attempted to remove a c-clip. as soon as i applied pressure to the handle to grab the clip, the handle broke off. Looking at the parts under magnification it appears the metal was cracked. When pressure was applied the small amount of metal that was holding it together, it gave way. i returned it for a refund as a defective tool.i ordered another one from my harley dealer and had it the next day. the new one looks identical to the one that broke. I have used the new one several times and it works great. Maybe the first one i received was a lemon, who knows!!

This is a great tool even if the price is sort of high. I tried using needle nose pliers and had the piston clips flying all over the place (lucky I didn't scare a piston) when I got the tool the job was a no brainer both removal and assembly. It might have been nice at the price charged if it came with instructions for proper use.
