I wanted a cheap replacement of the camera and light, since my old one was spazzing out and the light would stay on continuously, even if you shut the phone off haha. So to say the least, this solved the problem. The only draw back I've noticed is that the camera does not have very good close up capabilities. I don't know if all of them are like this, but mine is. I cannot use QR code scanners, or anything that needs to be up close. It just wont focus close. I love how the tools are magnetic so it makes taking out/putting in screws MUCH easier. The camera lacks the ability to focus, and is NO WHERE NEAR as sharp as the original camera in a iPhone 4. 4, not even a 4S. After swapping it in and taking a few comparison shots, I swapped my original back in. I'm far more willing to tolerate the dark spot in my original cam than to go with a low-rez, blurry cam. Now I have to go back to the stupid apple store and fork out another 60 bucks after wasting 10 on this one.
