ATMOKO With the anti-interference ability, the accuracy of this finger pulse oximeter is up to 98%. It will Auto-off when having no operation for 5 seconds. Moreover, it has low battery consumption and long battery lifetime.

Accuracy is questionable.
This is a a reasonably well manufactured finger pulse -ox. It is easy to use and the readout is clear. I have one reservation. My sat reading starts at 98 and drops rapidly to 93. The BPM is also intermittent. Fingernails are clean and the unit fits well onto the index finger. I took several readings from friends and family, some of whom are fit and healthy as is myself and some of whom suffer COPD. Comparing readings with a pulse ox from our surgery I have found that the readings obtained by using this product are consistently lower in all cases. This is not good for a pulse - ox. I will not be returning the product as it is such a low price, you only get what you pay for. Instead I will purchase a more expensive model for daily use as a health care professional and consign this to bin 13. I would not rely on this product. This is my personal opinion of course, and my tests are purely subjective and not in any way scientific.

Not a lot to dislike...
This is a solidly made and easy to read Pulse Oximeter. In the absence of being able to check it against another unit I will say that the read out is stable and consistent; it is in line with what I know my typical core readings to be. My other half - who suffers with low iron levels - shows expected drop of oxygen saturation from 98-99% (typical) to 94%.BTW: People often assume that holding your breath fro a few seconds will plunge your SpO2 from 99% to 50%. This doesn't happen and in fact you have to try very hard to get SpO2 to fall much at all as your body tries its best to keep it stable. COVID19 does produce a real drop in SpO2 which is why these things are useful at the moment and the reason I bought one now.The system also shows heart rate - which will typically be 70-100 but varies person to person but should be pretty stable. Resting in bed may drop it to 50-60 bpm or lower. Generally resting heart-rate is lower as you get older. This is a useful, inexpensive medical toll tool - just try to avoid using it to generate Dr Google paranoia!

Good inexpensive pulse oximeter
I have used many oximeters from when they were introduced in the 80s costing £1000s, to recent low cost devices. From operating theatres to the top of high mountains. This one is perfectly functional and I would be happy using it to detect low oxygen saturation. Of course it is basic but it costs very little. I doubt it would stand up to heavy use, and I have not had it long enough to know what the battery life is, but it is only intended for occasional use in the home environment.

Not really suitable for self use
This unit works fine BUT and it's not really apparent until you receive it - the device is meant to be read by someone who is taking your reading. If you use this yourself then the readings will be UPSIDE DOWN as you look down on it. So if you are a health professional taking other people's readings it's fine. If you are buying this to use for yourself then beware - the reading will be upside down.Point 2: The finish on the top is a Mirror finish - not black - maybe that was just the version I received. Anyway it certainly wasn't black.

Does the job easily
Simple to use - just open the aperture and put your finger tip inside with the nail facing upwards, let the spring pull the fitting together on your finger or thumb (there's no discomfort the pressure is minimal) and press the on button. takes a couple of seconds to register the results. Can't really verify the accuracy 'scientifically' without having another device of a different make to check against, but assuming that it's working fine then why worry? My readings are generally 98 or 99, sometimes 97 and once 95. But mainly 98 or 99. And I often do two or even three fingers for the heck of it and readings are consistent. So I recommend it. Very happy - use it a couple of times a day - just because it sits on my desk and I fiddle while on a call or something. :-)

Great, but the screen is hard to read when using it yourself
Good oximeter - it’s reading agrees extremely closely with 2 others I have access to. One disadvantage (for me) of this one compared to the others is that the screen is oriented “upside down” to the person who is using it, which makes it harder to read when using it on yourself (but of course easier for you to read when reading another person’s data!). I Slightly preferred the others I tried for this reason, but it’s not a big deal - this one is perfectly usable.

Simple and easy to use.
Does exactly what it promises, tested alongside an NHS calibrated one and was within 1-2% so Happy with that accuracy at this price point. Doesn't pinch the finger too hard and very quick at producing a reading. It appears excellent quality at the price I paid (Amazon prices can go up and down). I'll keep it with batteries out so there isn't a leak risk since it'll not get continuous use.
