This lap desk is exactly what I needed. I'm not really one to write reviews but I like this desk. I looked around and researched some different desk but many seemed bulky or had inaccurate pictures. I really like this desk because it is exactly what I expected it to be. The pictures and description are accurate. I've seen many complaints from other desk about the light being flimsy and dim but this one seems high quality. The adjustable arm on this one is stiff and stays in place. The round edges really take away from the bulk and it feels light yet sturdy. I really like using it before I go to bed to read or browse around on the internet, one day I'll get a tablet but till then it fits my macbook pro perfectly with a cup holder for my evening tea. I used to try to rest my laptop on my legs but this is so much less clumsy now. Once you get one you start to use it more and more....I even use it for eating while watching TV now which is something I never thought I would like...it just kind of started to become the go to accessory.

I love this lap desk! I wanted something to use when relaxing in bed that would fit my laptop (which is a MacBook Pro 13-inch from 2012) and also hold a drink. This fits my laptop perfectly, I love the cup holder, and the light is amazing because now I don't have to get out of bed to turn off my bedroom light when I am ready to sleep. I just turn on the little light on this lap desk, turn my bedroom light off, and I have just the right amount of light to use until I am ready for sleep. And the piece that holds the light is flexible, so you can easily angle the light to point at whatever you want. Note that you need to put in three AA batteries for the light to work. When you are not using the light, it tucks underneath, and there is a little velcro strap to keep it out of the way. The bottom of the lapdesk is like a beanbag type material that molds easily to your lap. Love this lapdesk!

Purchased as a gift for my husband. I like it so much, I borrow it occasionally from him. Very useful and provides plenty of room for my laptop and mouse. But my laptop is smaller than a regular size laptop so if your laptop is bigger than the actual size of this product, you may want to consider looking for a bigger travel desk. It's a perfect size for a small laptop. Otherwise, it is perfect!

This thing is a piece of junk.PROS:NONECONS:-The surface where the laptop sits isn't even flat--so my laptop rocks back and forth.-The light switch is hard to switch, and seems cheap and flimsy.-The Battery holder always comes unplugged.-The cushion is not very cushiony--it's quite firm and doesn't mold around my legs at all.

This is perfect, I did a lot of shopping and glad I picked this one. It is a little flexible unlike wooden top ones would be but no problem and everything else makes it better than those, I jut wouldn't put a cup in the cup holder when it's on my lap with a laptop

Nice lap table. Only reason 4 instead of 5 is lip around the edge is a little uncomfortable (but it may be my arm posture) and my lap gets warm with the beans in the pillow portion. I still would buy again.

My wife loves this travel desk, now she can use her tablet while watching TV, and she has, every day, since we got this.

I'm just uncomfortable with its small size. Other than that it is great.
