It is very beautiful in person. Love the simplicity and imperfection of the handpainted line.I'm really surprised this didn't break during shipment, though! Amazon sent this in a plastic bag, no padding. I opened up the box to make sure nothing broke before gifting this to someone - no styrofoam or padding in the green box packaging either! but somehow, miraculously, nothing broke. I really hope that they ship more carefully in the future. This should have been shipped in a cardboard box with padding. Perhaps it's a testament to how durable the product is?

Love the set and finish. one of the little glasses chipped and was sharp, but otherwise has been great. Kept me from double fisting sake shots, may be a positive tho, 4 stars

I am loving this set. I have used expensive “hand crafted” sets, but this traditional color of white and blue allows me to see the color of the sake better, and the cups feel better in my hand compared to a heavier cup.The material seems strong and has not chipped (I have broken plenty of others over the years), and my daughter even knocked the bottle over without breaking it..

The set is very nice, delicate and elegant. The packaging of the set itself doesn’t seem very secure, but Amazon delivered it with care and nothing broken.

I haven't had it for a long time but I've already used it several times to have chilled sake and I LOVE IT!It is classic, simple, light, but beautifully made. I would 100% buy this for a friend too.

This is a really pretty set, simple and durable. I have enjoyed my sake in this set heated in the nuker. You will like it if you are looking for a nice sake set without to much fuss. Made hubby pour me my first one, lol.

This sake set is the real deal from Japan. The blue is brilliant, classy and flawless. The cups are a perfect size, so you get a little more than a sip. This set brings my sake and sushi experience to a whole new level. It's worth every penny. Thanks!!

The moment you pick these up you can tell you've got a quality and unique sake set. We've had some other sets that had visible fit, finish and feel problems, however the Minoyaki set gets praise across the board.
