Amerock BP19207ORB Backplates 4 in (102 mm) Length Oil-Rubbed Bronze Cabinet Backplate, 4-3/8 Inch

I used these backplates with pull knobs on our new 2 foot wide barn doors, to make the knobs look a little larger. The only thing is, I thought they would be thicker. I would have liked them to be a little more three dimensional.

It functioned and served my purpose. But it is not a robust product. It is made from very thin metal; meaning it does not have the strength needed to stay flat when you tighten the knob onto it. The edges tend to bend out if you torque down the knob.But as stated it did work. Had some old cabinets with 3.5" center pull holes and you can not find those anymore. So this plate and a single knob solved it. The plate covered the holes nicely enough.The finish looked OK... meaning it passes and matches the knob well enough. It does not seem real durable though.

Had very crooked pulls on my kitchen cabinets. Carpenter didn't use a template. My sister and I solved the problem by putting on this backplate to hide the 2 misplaced holes, and drilled a new hole for the new knob. Absolutely loving it all.

USING THIS BACKPLATE ON MY CLOSET DOORS FOR AN ADDED INTEREST WITH THE CRYSTAL KNOBS. GIVES A FLAIR TO THE LOOK. AM HAPPY WITH THEM; EASY TO SCREW ONTO DOORS.

I bought these backplates when replacing the old 70s hardware on our dining room hutch. It was a great way to get rid of the old style of MIL's cabinet and beef up new knobs that are more of our transitional design style like the rest of our home decor. It was also thin enough that I didnt need to buy longer screws!
