Really great unit for mobile and for beginners and experienced DJs who want a mobile setup
I got this unit for two purposes: Beach party, and for a unit to just sit on my desk at work to do music, scan through tracks do basic cue pointing etc. It's nearly perfect for the money. I also own the WeGO4, and overall, I find this unit better (and half the price). What I like about this unit is that the platters feel good, and they feel right. They have the right shape, and work well and easily. The performance 'pads' are buttons not pads, but I actually rather like this for a more rugged setting like the beach where I'm more likely to fat finger things. I like that it has low, mid and hi EQs, which the WeGO4 doesn't. The tempo sliders are a good size, and have an okay feel, not as good as the DDJ1000 or DDJ800, the dead zone around the 0 mark isn't very easy to feel sometimes, and the zone where they slider doesn't produce adjustment is also kind of big relative to the whole slider. What's not to like? Well - the headphone out is accomplished by splitting the stereo output of the computer; which means you're only getting mono out of the headphone jack, and so the overall signal power of the output is 1/2 which leaves the headphones particularly weak. And for me, the biggest missing is the load control on the unit. Every single other DJ unit has a load control, and I think if I could have put one more thing on the unit; it would be this. The performance pads can be switched to different modes from the laptop itself, which isn't awful; but my second wish would be a mode button for the performance pads. It's also missing any loop controls which is a bit of a bummer, but, it's a basic unit, so how much can I expect?! This device also works REALLY well with the iPhone DJ app WeDJ (which works on the iPad also). Really really well. The iPad essentially functions as a Midi controller, and the buttons not present on the controller itself are present in the App, and it's very easy to use this way (maybe even better than with Rekordbox). Did I mention it's very well priced?! if nothing else, this is a great backup controller that you can afford to just throw in a backpack and pull out in an emergency to get you through. Would I recommend this unit: Absolutely, 100%. Buy it, it's fun!

Great for messing around and being compact
I've been DJ'ing since the 80's. I have a lot of different controllers that I bring out in gigs that are in heavy flight cases. Sometimes you just want to grab something and try some techniques or mixes out. This little controller is a blast. As long as you have a way to output your audio through your device, it feels just like a regular controller, just smaller. The bluetooth midi is really cool as I don't have to rely on any direct USB wire to my iPhone or iPad. I can keep playing and towards the end of the gig, just pack my controller and use the screen controls until I'm done. This way I can clear out in seconds. I remapped majority of the controller to suit my mixing style. It doesn't have browse and load functions so I changed out some of the hot cue buttons for browsing, FX, and loops. I also changed out some of the EQ knobs to control master and cue volume. I do a lot of background music mixing for corporate/retail and this has become one of my favorite controllers. A lot of times I'm in an area where I can't fit a big controller like a SX3. It's small enough to throw in a backpack and it works with either laptop, iPad, or iPhone. I even added a little foldable magnetic mount so I can just mount my phone on the controller. Most of the time I use it with an iPad using DJAY. I have a 5000mah lipstick USB battery that clings to the back of the unit with a magnet. Also switched out the USB cable to a 6" cable with right angle connector. This makes it very compact and clean. With the USB battery, I can do an 8 hour gig and only use 50% of the battery.

A Decent Bluetooth DJ Controller with Some Limitations
The Pioneer DJ DDJ-200 caught my attention due to its wireless capabilities. While it has some positive aspects, there are a few downsides that prevented it from meeting all of my expectations. On the positive side, the Bluetooth connectivity feature is convenient, allowing for a wireless connection to compatible devices. This feature comes in handy when you want to free yourself from the constraints of cables and move around more freely while DJing. However, one significant drawback of this controller is the lack of any plug for cable connection. Depending on the situation and location, relying solely on Bluetooth might not always be feasible. In areas with weak or no Wi-Fi signals, connecting the controller via Bluetooth could be problematic, hindering your DJing experience. Additionally, I encountered some usability issues with the SoundCloud integration. When connected to my SoundCloud account, the songs displayed on the screen with very small letters, making it challenging to read, especially in low-light settings. This could be a significant inconvenience, especially during live performances when quick access to song information is crucial. Furthermore, I experienced some stability problems with the SoundCloud app, which crashed more than once while I was DJing. Such interruptions can disrupt the flow of your performance and be frustrating to deal with during gigs or events. On the positive side, the controller itself is well-designed and functions perfectly when used with Bluetooth. The controls are responsive and easy to use, allowing for seamless mixing and manipulation of tracks. The built-in features offer a range of creative possibilities, making it a suitable choice for beginners and hobbyist DJs. In conclusion, the Pioneer DJ DDJ-200 is a decent DJ controller with its Bluetooth capabilities, but it falls short in certain areas. The lack of a cable plug restricts its use in situations where Bluetooth connectivity might not be reliable, and the SoundCloud integration needs improvement to offer a more user-friendly experience. If you primarily prefer using Bluetooth and can overlook the limitations, this controller might suit your needs well. However, for those who require more stable and consistent performance, particularly in challenging environments, it might be worth exploring other options on the market. Overall, the Pioneer DJ DDJ-200 provides a glimpse into the future of wireless DJing, but it's not yet perfect in meeting all the demands of DJs who seek a more versatile and reliable controller for their performances.

Great piece of equipment at a great price
This controller was everything I wanted as a entry level controller. Pioneer have produced a easy to use product that can be set up with ease straight out of the box. Works well with Tidal via the software DJ Pro and you can split link headphones and a 3.5mm audio line in to a speaker (Bose SP1 Pro works well). I didn't use the WeDj app that you can download to use with this controller as I plugged the USB provided into my Dell laptop and ran the DJ Pro software which was easy to setup the controller via the settings menu. Great piece of equipment that had me spinning tunes in no time. If your looking for something to get started without breaking the bank then this is for you.
