It longs to be stellar
This book, cards, and boxed set were designed with care and consideration. It so wants to be loved. But it is lacking in some ways, which are very unfortunate. The biggest disappointment to me was the thickness of the cards. They are very, very thin, and won't stand up for high use and wear. Think of how a new deck can be difficult to shuffle. The cards are stiff, new, tight. This deck isn't like that. They are so thin, you can shuffle them easily. That can be a good thing, but it also means they are more susceptible to bends. I will say that the colors are bright, and the drawings endearing. Yet, some of the art feels mismatched. Some of the art has borders, some doesn't. Some cards have a white background, while others have a more stylized colored background. Winter, Coffee Break, and Magnolia, for some reason, are sideways -- how would one know if they were to be read reversed? And the latter also brings up the point of, the naming of the cards, which goes from flowers, to dragons, to things like chocolate, wine, and coffee. That feels mismatched to me, but I can live with that. I get it... there is a fairy for everything. The small hardbound book included begs to be loved. It's dripping with art, besides the card images, and decorated delightfully. But that's where the joy ends. Due to the designer wanting to keep text to one page, the font is often reduced to what could be as small as 8 points (very small). Better make sure you have your glasses on when you read this. Each fairy has a chant, and a one-line saying, as well as a key word. The spacing on each page differs from one to the next, all in the name of keeping to one page. Perhaps a little editing could have prevented that. The printing feels a little lack luster. I think it may be something to do with the paper quality, though, unlike the cards, the book pages are a reasonable thickness. I think I could easily overlook the small font and other issues if it weren't for one other problem. There's something about the text and the image descriptions that doesn't match. I'm not sure how to explain this, other than when testing it with a friend, we were both disappointed when we looked at the images, read the card, and felt like we had picked a message that was "right on," until we read the descriptions... which were not. I suppose this could be a personal thing, but if you've ever read a description that felt so right on and you laughed about how uncanny it was, then you'll understand why this was disappointing. As we looked at card after card, thought about how the images spoke to us, and how the descriptions didn't, we were left feeling hollow.Overall, the set offers a beautiful presentation and the art is very well done with rich details and much delight. Unfortunately, the other problems left me wondering if I should return it, or store it. I chose the latter because I liked the art, but will likely never use the deck, it just didn't work for me.

Beautiful cards
This is a beautiful set I bought for my granddaughter who is interested in Tarot cards. She loves them and uses them often. The art work is beautiful and a bit whimsical at times, the book is easily read and understood. We are both very pleased. It has a nice case, which ties with a ribbon and hold both the book and the card deck.

Beautiful Oracle Set
This was actually my first oracle deck and I love it still. It is clearly a "WISDOM DECK" not a Tarot. If you look at the pictures you can clearly see this is NOT TAROT. The cards are nicely done, but no, not quite as vividly done as the packaging. The artwork is beautiful though and the cards aren't any thinner than my tarot decks, just larger. If you're new to the Oracles this is a nice set to start.

This deck is a MUST have!
I love this deck! I have 7 other decks that are pretty great, but I use these ones the most (every night before bed). The cards are thinner and easier to shuffler, the art is spectacular (sometimes I stare at every detail for awhile before even reading the message), and the messages have also been right on every time giving me exactly what I need in that moment. Awesome deck! Highly recommend!

Tarot Magic
I think it's true that certain tarot decks are meant for certain people. I ordered this deck for myself, but my life partner saw it, and it spoke to her. We did a reading for her, and it was dead on. Thus, we traded this deck for a more traditional deck she had recently purchased. She loves this deck dearly, and consults it on life matters that affect us both. It's very visually pleasing, as well. The price is a definite bargain...a great buy!

Review
The art on these cards is beautiful. In my opinion the cards should've been on more substantial card stock because the stuff that was used was flimsy. I haven't worked with the cards much, but from an aesthetic view they are nice.

Beautiful and different
the book is Beautifully illustrated with black and whites of the cards and full discriptions of their meanings. the cards are gorgeous, vibrant, and detailed they are a joy to look at alone. the box they come in is nice enough to display on its own.I want to make this one thing clear. these are not tarot cards.
