Designacable 3m Custom Length Guitar Lead, Red Van Damme XKE - Neutrik NP2X-B / NP2RX-B Jacks - Red

I have bought this as a replacement to a fifteen year old cable which the outer ground core has total perished on.Upon receiving this item the first thing I did was check it over and noticed no blemish or quality control issues. Also, with having an electrical/electronics back ground, I opened up the mono jack chassis' and checked the quality of the solder joints. It's safe to say they are very clean and professionally done. Using my multimeter, there is plenty of resistance between the signal and ground connections and continuity chimes out clear and strong with contact from each connection end, which is a very reassuring start.Plugging in I notice a richer, fuller low end from my bass guitar with no compromise at the higher end either. I didn't realise how much signal I had lost from my old home-made jobby!There isn't much more I can comment on this apart from it does its job well and it's made to a professional standard. I've been using Designacable for years now via ebay and Amazon. I usually buy Sommer Spirit cables and ha've always been impressed with their service and cabling.This time I had to get Van Damme because they couldn't supply Sommer on a next day service in the length I needed.I was surprised at how thin the cable feels - Don't get me wrong, it's branded Van Damme cable, with quality Neutrik jacks and it certainly does the job. I just worry about how flimsy it is.It's definitely the thinnest guitar cable I have owned in 30 years of playing. I always carry a backup, so if the worst should happen I'll be fine.Just a bit surprised. Time will tell I guess, but I think I'll go back to ordering Sommer Spirit cables in the future, just for peace of mind.

I have been using a Fender cable for my Squier VM SS bass and Fender rumble amp, (assuming like the amp and bass the cable would be of excellent quality). Since switching to these Van Damme cables I must say there is a distinct improvement in signal clarity between bass and amp. Less distortion (didnt dial any in but it was there with fender cable) and a much clearer and sharper tone. My E string was a little muddy using my old fender cable but this one cleared that up. I will not be using Fender cables again, instead switching full time to these fab jobbies. Its a pretty yellow colour too, and suupple, no memory coils at all. Overall an excellent buy. I supremely recommend these to anyone. At any level. Period.

I was looking for a good quality lead to connect my pedal board to my amp so that I could keep my existing one as a backup for gigging with my bass rig.Well I am definitely not disappointed.This lead is very nice. It has quality jack plugs and the cable is very flexible and has a quality feel. I purchased the lead in white with black jack plugs incidentally.The sound quality is all I expected when connected to my bass guitar set up.I placed my order and it arrived on time.Very happy.

A 3 metre black/blue braided with right angle one end and straight at the other, gold Neutrek jacks.Ideal for my Telecaster into Champ without tripping over.Their usual quality, as I’ve got many permutations for my big rig.Highly recommend either this or the vintage braid !

It’s a lead...No crackles, decent quality jack plugs.Even the little Velcro retainer strap works well!It doesn’t intrude upon my consciousness, which for a lead, is a Good Thing (tm).

I used two of these cables this morning: a 3m yellow made of Van Damme, and a 4m made of Sommer.I hadn't been disappointed with the Van Damme - pretty much the same as my other cables - but the one made with Sommer cable was noticeably better. Fuller sound, punchy, full frequency range (well, as much as I need ;)) - very impressive, especially at this price.(Playing a Lakland 44-94 bass with Ernie Ball Cobalt Flats.)

Van damme are suppliers to prs I paid £70 for one these cables are identical for a fraction of the price highly recommend I play prs guitars through prs amplification so want the best if you want the best get one or two patch leads are also available I won't be using anything else again

El unico motivo de dar mi opinion es que sea util y le sirva a posibles compradores. Los cables son importantes y como tenia que comprar bastantes para recablear todo por jubilacion de mis viejos cables fender y construirme mi propia pedalera para tambien jubilar la madera con patas, me tome mi tiempo para ser coherente y tener un buen cableado con el minimo dinero posible, Ya habia comprado un Klozt muy chulo para el tramo guitarra - pedalera, luego encontre latiguillos de otro fabricante ingles que utiliza este mismo cable y conectores tipo pancake muy buenos tambien , pero solo tenian hasta 90 cm y para conectar bien el Boss NS2 ese tipo de conectores no sirven al tener ese pedal las entradas muy cerca , asi que compre un lote de 5 latigullos de 15 cm y segui buscando hasta que me encontre con estos. Primero compre dos de 3 metros azul y rojo ( lo de tener varios colores a elegir es muy util ) para el lopp de efectos y ver que tal eran, y son muy buenos , buen cable ( me informe cuando compre los latigullos y comprobe que Van Damme es un constructor serio y de calidad , en su pagina web dicen todo lo que han cableado y si sirven para cablear Wembley , el Eurofighter, la gira de AC/DC o las guitarras y amplis PRS supongo que tambien serviran para mi equipo), conectores excelentes Neutrik y construccion y acabados perfectos, he comprado cinco mas , uno de 2 m , dos de 50 cm , uno de 25 cm y otro de 15cm que aqui no hay y tube que comprarlo en otra famosa web muy parecida a Amazon que tambien los vende, todo esto a buen pecio a mi entender que se convierte en excelente si los compras en Amazon uk, gracias al cambio actual libra-euro te ahorras minimo 5 euros por cable y mas si compras varios como he hecho yo, miralo y calcula , me di cuenta de esto despues de comprar los dos primeros asi que compre los demas alli. Si esto le sirve a alguien habra cumplido su funcion.

Cables de calidad, los anteriores me han durado 3 años usándolos varias veces a la semana. Buenísimos y a buen precio.

Muy contento con este cable. No será el más barato, pero todos conocemos la calidad de los jacks Neutrik (muy buena), y además se trata de un cable muy flexible. Volvería a comprarlo no diré sin pensarlo, sino precisamente habiéndolo pensado.

Achete apres un choix malheureux ( Stagg 1.5m High Quality Phone to Phone Plug Instrument Cable ) qui a vue un des jack se tordre ( 1ere fois que cela m'arrivait ) . Dans l'absolu le stagg m'aurait suffit et le prix allait bien (3€) mais la qualite - solidite n'etait pas au rdv ( utilise qq jours seulement )Là avec un prix 8 x superieur sans surprise c'est bien mieux . prise neutrik , cable vandamme ...du trés bon meme si je n'avais pas besoin d'autant .
