The scale makes it easy for people to no "fat finger" a note. The clarity of the sound and the way it takes to effects is amazing. This is, and will be, my everyday guitar for a very long time. I still consider myself a beginner and I do not recommend this guitar for beginners because tuning a Floyd Rose is quite a task. Stays in tune after dive bombers and extensive play. Red EMGs are awesome and the switch setup is unique (look it up). The gain potential is much higher than most guitars I get. In this case no need to replace pickups to get my sound. Slayer knows what we need and want and Gary Holt gave it to us with his signature guitar. Love it! It’s a muscle car. It’s fast and heavy and looks amazing.
