Avoidant Personality Disorder: A Guide Treatment and Cures Paperback – June 1, 2012

I was hoping I could use this with my clients, however, there were so many typos and grammatical errors, I would never recommend it to anyone. I also learned the author is not a psychologist...not at all clinically based.

This book was somewhat insightful, but there were many grammatical errors. It was not at all what I expected. I thought it would enhance more on the obstacles she faced and the ways she dealt with it. It was not worth the money. I think what bothered me the most were all the typos. I am surprised a publishing company would publish a book with all these mistakes.

Contains the same information as Wikipedia, is only about 15 pages, lots of grammatical errors, I should've read the reviews first, waste of money!

This book can be helpful in that it is a very basic, general introduction to avoidant personality disorder. But it is filled with grammatical errors and typos that distract the reader from the intended message. With only 15 pages of text, it isn't worth the $8 price tag. With some serious editing and a little more informational meat, this little book could be a winner.
