These are a very nice set of pliers, they do everything they say they do. They cut braid like butter which is the one thing I doubted they would do. I used them on Walleye, Pike, Bass, Perch and gills with zero complaints. I fish a lot and have used these more in a couple months than most people would in a couple years and I was very happy....Then, I actually had to put some pressure on these bad boys for a very oddly stubborn hook set in a Bass that simply would not pop out. One hard twist with these and they bent, hook stayed in and I was left remembering a few reviews that said they would bend under little pressure.I went from very happy to pretty frustrated. I can still use them but I cannot count on them now. They are damaged and will not take another stubborn hook in a bass. They are now used to cut braid and for pan fish only. I will probably add them to my kids fishing gear with hopes they will not take my good ones.I still gave this product 2 stars because they do what they say they will. If they were a little stronger they would be 5 stars all day.

I ordered this pliers looking for something quick and easy to wear on my waders while fishing. I loved the tool when I received it as it is well constructed and the line cutting feature built into the jaws of the pliers is top notch. The pouch could use a better strap than just Velcro, as I lost my pliers the first time I had it out in a lily patch....my mistake for not checking. However, when I received an email from the seller asking how I liked the product and I relayed my story to him and told him about the strap design.......he offered to replace my pliers and sent me another one within a couple of days!!! It is refreshing and awesome to see someone stand behind their product in such a way and appreciate honest feedback. THANK YOU FISH ELITE!! 5 stars for the great service and tool. Tell the guy to do 2 push ups for this one.

Lost my old pliers for fishing and needed a new pair, picked these gems up. So far have used them in two trips of bowfishing, and they’ve performed outstanding! These pliers are lightweight and compact, but have no problem at all holding up a 10lb Gar! Definitely recommend!

Not very good pliers tips twist. There are better tools. Heck buy needle nose. There is a new product getting great reviews for hook extraction.I’ve seen much better multi tools for fishing.

Maybe if your fishing for sun fish or creek chubs and want them to die before you can get the hook out then they are great. They constantly lock up and have horrid grip. Don’t waste your money, or your time.

I've been using these pliers for a few months now and I couldnt be happier. The line cutter is still as sharp as the day they came out of the box. Braid doesn't stand a chance. Never had a hook I couldn't extract with these. The stream line design of these makes them perfect in all fishing situations
