Only take up this book after you read a comic book so that your standards are really low. The actions of the characters make no sense. The development of the protagonists consists of...no, wait a minute, I'll get it... nope, I'm wrong. There is no character development. A yuppie ex-quarterback can't figure out why his gal is acting so weird; after all, they're in Jamaica eating food laced with "marijuana" (and I thought only newscasters used that word to describe WEED) and guzzling shots of vodka. What could possibly make his "lady" behave so strangely? (By the way. Note to author/editor/publisher: what you just saw was a question mark. Ever hear of punc-tu-a-tion? There it is again, FYI) And, I beg your pardon, but a cliche or two is tolerable; string them arbitrarily and ya ain't got nuthin! He weeps, he hugs, he weeps, he pulls a gun. No, no. This book mustn't exist in posterity. Oh, the humanity.One more irresistible note: kids, don't ever let a stranger take you to a mansion by yourself in Jamaica if you're addicted to pot. Bad things will happen.

I stopped reading this book twice. But with only a little over 100 pages I told myself I could get through it. There was nothing believeable in this story. "Cliffhanger" which I had suspected from the beginning. Will not be reading the rest in the series.

Well written. Kept me interested from page one. Was up late reading the first book, can’t wait to read the next one in the series. For a smart level headed business woman, can’t believe she took so quickly to drugs.

I didn't like how fast the heroine got addicted to weed and after that didn't care about anyone or anything.

Such a well written book. Couldn't put it down!

Great Caribbean adventure. Loved the characters, Reed, Quinn, & Gilbert. Can't wait to read what's next in the series. Couldn't put this book down!

This story exceeded my expectations! I finished this book in just one sitting. It was enticing, from start to finish. The author even lets you download the second book for free. Can’t wait to continue reading this series!
