I needed a small stool with more height so I could sit more comfortably when I was working in my lower kitchen cabinets. But this is also very sturdy and has a very solid step so I can reach easily into my upper cabinets . I try to hold on to a part of the cupboard, however, to avoid getting wobbly because I'm not as strong as I used to be. But I'm very happy with this step stool. The step is very sturdy and well made.

Nice height. Works both as a stepstool and as a sitting stool Can be a little problematic in trying to unfold it especially for arthritic hands. Which is why I gave it four stars.

This stool is a great height to use in a shower. I use mine to shave my legs. It’s the perfect height.
