KAKIT 6 Layers Truck Cover Waterproof All Weather, Heavy Duty Snowproof Windproof Dustproof

Comfortably fits my 1965 Ford F100, stepside. As this truck sits in one of the outbuildings for the winter, this cover is mostly to keep the barn dust, bird poop, and cat prints off of it. Should do a fine job of that. As such, the locks and security straps are superfluous, although the storage bag will likely be used after the thaw.The complaint, if you can call it that, is with the antenna patch. There is no hole in the cover, so the scheme I used was to bend the antenna back towards the windshield, then snip a hole where I approximated the erect antenna would be. For this relatively small vehicle, there's plenty of slop in the installed cover to cover any inaccuracies. Once snipped, a single patch was placed over the antenna, then the antenna guided through the hole, then the final patch placed over the antenna. At that time, I removed the plastic over the adhesive on both patches and pressed them together. Simple enough, I'd just prefer that the patch holes were a little larger and (especially) that they were of a contrasting color so that it would be easier to find the hole when the cover is reinstalled.

Ordered cover 6” longer than length of my truck. When putting on the truck the first time, cover ripped as shown in the photo. Manufacture sent me an email asking about product and if I had any questions or concerns. I responded twice with photos and explanation wanting at least a response. Both emails ignored. I believe cover would be satisfactory if it can easily slide over your vehicle, especially if used only indoors like on this truck. Not sure if it would be durable outdoors. Maybe you could order a cover that is 24” longer than you need so there would be no stress on the cover when applying. Disappointed.

Cover fits very well on our 2003 Dodge Dakota Crew Cab. We live by the Central California coast, and so far, cover has performed well in high winds and heavy rain. Only issue you have to deal with is the rainwater that pools in the pickup bed since the cover is waterproof (it ends up acting like a pool liner). Great cover!

I bought this last year in July 2019 to cover my truck while I was deployed. In less than a year it has faded, the cloth is coming apart and chaffing and the material is deteriorating at a very high rate. It states that it has a warranty but I’m unsure of the accuracy of that statement. I would not recommend purchasing this truck cover, it was not made to last for a long period of time.

I thought it was supposed to have a drivers door access door. And the instructions weren’t very good. It says something about an instillation strap but nothing was in the package. But it does fit well.

Peice of crap, this thing ripped like a tissue in the first strong wind we had, the lock from the security cable hit the side of my truck and chipped the paint.
