Got it for my rattos
Holds up well to my rats. Had it for a year+. The plastic washer on the front should be replaced with a metal one. Once they figure out how to use it, expect it to be empty within a few hours.

Was fun while it lasted
My Grey was confused for the first couple days about why he couldn't get the snacks he could clearly see. He would try asking it for food and giving it kisses. Eventually he learned asking it nicely for the treats wouldn't work but he could get his beak between the edge of the rotating plastic disc and the part that holds the treats and pry it up a bit. After that, he spent a couple days trying to pull it off instead of using the holes in front. He never managed to actually snap the disc in half like I thought he would. He figured out how to use it properly after a couple more days and was doing a pretty good job at rotating the holes around to whatever snack he wanted to get to. This lasted about a week. Then he found he could just destroy the piece that helped to attach the rotating disc and yanked the whole thing off. In the photo you can see the green chewed up plastic piece that secured the disc.It was fun while it lasted! I don't see the point in buying another just to have it destroyed within 2 weeks because I don't feel comfortable giving him a plastic toy that he will break like this. Who knows how much of it he might accidentally ingest while tearing it up?

It's for the birds...
I got one each for my new birds: Cockatiel and Indian Ringneck. My male Cockatiel enjoys it and has figured out quickly how to spin the front to get to each compartment. My female IRN has figured out quickly how to rip off the front cover of the wheel to expose all of the compartments. Before buying, just know that you have to tighten the bolt on the back of the wheel in the middle. I feel like that will help but I haven't put it back in her cage yet to see. I'll eventually have to do that for his. At least now I know there's a way to thoroughly clean it without breaking it. Otherwise I've first tried putting their seed mix in there which was a bad idea. Mess all underneath since when the hole lines up with the compartment, and the wheel is vertical, everything just pours out of it. Waste of expensive seed mix. Then my male is left with trying very hard to get to the crumbs that are still in there that are hard to reach. I might try putting their veggies in there but I would need to clean it everyday and taking the wheel off of the cage with the screws, nuts, and washers are a bit annoying to do. So, I'm not thrilled with this product, but I don't hate it.

Worked well
Installment was easy , and my rats absolutely love it. No complaints other than it’s a little difficult to get treats in

My African Grey took it apart
I have no problem with the quality of materials used. However there's some rethinking needed when it comes to the assembly design. My African Grey figured out how to take it apart with in 2 days the first time. I put it back together, took about 2-3 hours to take apart the 2nd time. Again I reassemble it & think I have it fix so she can't take it apart again, that lasted 3 days. I put it back together, took about 30-45 minutes for her to disassemble it this last time. Now I have to either figure out how to reassemble it so she can't take it apart or buy a new one that's better designed against bird brains. :-)

i do NOT think this is safe for my GCC
Got this as a foraging toy for my green cheek conure. A few things posed an issue and I will unfortunately be returning:1. (most important!) the holes are JUST too small for his head, meaning he tries to shove his head in the holes to retrieve the treats, smushing his eyes and posing a risk of getting stuck. NOT a risk i am willing to take at all. if you have a bird gcc-sized or smaller, do NOT get this version. (NOT THE SELLER'S FAULT! just needs to be made clear the dangers and how important it is to get appropriately-sized toys for your animals!)2. I got the clear version and it confused him. Kept him busy, which is great, but also frustrated him and he got angry and bitey because of it. He tried to reach the seeds from everywhere but the holes and just got lucky when he happened across a hole.3. The front bit with the holes has a weird balance issue. The two pockets at the 3 and 9 oclock positions (the ones touching the brackets) were the ones i filled for a test and when setting the holes to either of those spots, the front bit spun, as if the weight was distributed unevenly on the acrylic front with the holes...which makes no sense, since it's a singular sheet of plastic and not the part filled with seeds, if that makes sense. Basically, the holes moved on their own in some positions and it was very frustrating and dangerous for my little guy.4. Most of these types of foraging toys come with a little knob to turn the face of it. I assumed this would have one (hard to see on the picture if there is or isn't), but it doesn't, making it hard for my bird to turn it.5. It would be really frustrating to attach this to the cage AND unattach it to fill it back up, clean it, etc.Overall, my major concern is the safety of my baby and this does not seem safe enough for him. The thing is sturdy as far as I can tell and looks nice after taking the protective plastic off the front, but the issues just outweigh that. I will get another doohickey like this that has more appropriate holes for my conure.

My Amazon loves it, maybe too much.
I really wanted to love this but I don't, yet. Three days into it being in her cage, the plastic washer has been chewed to bits (I'll replace it with a stainless steel one if need be) and it seems a bit too thin for a medium sized bird. My amazon loves it but it is a lot thinner than the last one I had and I broke. She definitely has to work hard for the 2 almonds she gets per day and goes at it till she gets them. That's the part I love. Depending on how long it lasts, I may upgrade my stars but right now, there is a lot less screaming with her working so hard for 2 measly almonds.

As pictured but not that great.
Not easy to get in or out of cage. Need a screwdriver to take it apart for cleaning /easier filling. Because of this it’s limited to dry treats only, bird isn’t very into it. Recommend a foraging ball over this, getting a lot of use out of my ball, bird loves his ball.

Does the job
I bought this for my lovebird. It took him a few days to figure out what it did, but now he seems to have the hang of how it works. It's a little big/heavy for him, so sometimes he struggles to get into a position where he can find a foothold and get a grip on the front plate to turn it, but that's part of the challenge. Unfortunately because he is just a little bird, most of his preferred foods and treats are small enough that they fall right out. I'll try putting come crinkled paper in with the food to up the challenge a little and keep his snacks from all just spilling out at once. Dismantling it to clean is a pain, so I've only been using it for dry non-perishables to keep it from getting soiled too quickly.

Rats love it
My rats love this, it is a little tricky to get the food in the toy, but anything for my ratties. Every rat is different so I can’t say all rats will love it but this one did work for me and my rats

Works great, but the plastic film takes forever to remove
I wasn’t sure at first because of the comments, but I bought it anyway. It works fine and it’s slides easily. My only issue was with the plastic film on both sides of the wheel surface : it took ages to remove! Very hard to peel, very hard to see! But it assures me that it’s not used. It’s a interesting new challenge for my rats.

Poor design
I bought this for my rats to make feeding time more interesting and stimulating. This Item is ment as a foraging device but as soon as the front panel spins around all the food falls out and just makes a mess. Poor design but sturdy built. I am returning this product.
