DIN to 3.5mm headphone adapter for Honda and Harley-Davidson (10- Pack)

A little pricey and sits a little tall but it works perfectly. But that's why we ride.The payoff is now I can use good earbuds to listen to my HD Boom! system (radio, GPS, and my iPod connected to the system's USB cable.HEADS UP: 3.5mm TRS connectors work fine but not all 3.5mm TRRS ear buds will. That extra ring is normally used for the earbud microphone and will distort your audio by diverting a small amount of current back down line. Either use earbuds without a TRRS connection or buy an adapter that will change the 3.5mm TRRS into a 3.5mm TRS connection. I think they're like $5 on Amazon

Sound is not good. Sounds garbled..

Excellent customer service. I received the part very quik ahead of expected delivery date. Initially thought it was wrong as my harley ultra classic had a 7 pin DIN audio port and this was a 5 pin adapter. After I plugged it in I realized the connection worked and I now know the missing 2 ports are for the mic which is not used with headphones. Works great. Able to use noise cancelling ear buds on the harley now.

It's really rare for me to leave a 1 Star review but I have to admit to feeling totally ripped off on this purchase. I installed the Rider Headset kit on my 2015 Road Glide Special and thought this would be a great way to listen to some tunes at speed without blasting out to everyone in the area. Took off for ROT in Austin and determined within about 5 miles this didn't work. The sound quality was HORRIBLE. I basically decided to fix it when I returned in three days.Rookie mistake when I assumed the bad sound had something to do with my original connection for the rider cable ( I had also purchased a different adapter for my SENA but didn't use it yet) and after wasting a good 3 hours triple checking the connections I tested again. Crap sound again. This time however I hooked up the other adapter and was able to hear outstanding sound through my ear buds ... retested these ... crap again. Total waste of money for me.

Works perfect on my 2015 ultra Classic.

First, this looks like a home made unit, they took a 5 pin DIN and mated a 3.5mm headphone jack together and put heat shrink on it. Second, there is no location lug on the DIN so it is easy to miss connect it to the 7 pin DIN on the bike. :(-
